Yeah partly as where we hunt there are so few deer at all compared to many parts of the country. You really have to "hunt" well just to see any deer at all.
@F350With460engine they arent very good hunters i had a buddy go with them one time and they shot a small 5 pointer and they didnt want to tag it and since my buddy wouldnt they told him to never come around again... alot of small deer are killed and not reported by these clowns
Hey is pretty cool to meet them im lucky enough to know them and i actually live about 1/8 of a mile from larry who is the father and i grew up knowing them
I took the track. I was the first one in that morning on the roads. I found great scrapes and rubbings as I tracked him but then lost him in a bedding area and followed out a large doe track. I did catch the doe 4 hrs later and could have taken her which was cool! The next day I came in from another angle and found his old track out of the bedding area. He never came back to the area or hooked up with the doe I tracked so I guess she was already bred.

Benoits are the def the best damn hunters in vermont and would easily give any other hunters in this country a run for their money.
