its a pretty big claim to say its the fastest around... maybe in that area but not where i come from, i know a few people 8 second streetcars. gona build a new motor for my friend and hopefully we will get a 7 :)

You have to remember that this was a few years ago before it got the supercharged EFI engine.

i run a drag car, its a full chassis car like this one with a 410cube chev and we make just over 100hp per 1000rpm, its able to go to 10,000rpm but we limit it around 8,500(because its cheaper lol), it does 0-50mph in 1.0sec 0-100mph in 2.2sec. best time its ran so far is 8.16@168mph... my mates got a blown 350chev that puts out 1380hp at the flywheel in a holden ute (aussie car). maybe we just like lots of horsepower around here... >:)
