Hope they have this song in ultimate Tenkaichi, it's confirmed to have the original japanese songs. Hopefully we can get Bruce Falconer fan buys to appreciate music for what it is. We all know none of them would say that the music sucks if funimation used the jap. music. I like this soundtrack and kai's as well. it's a shame we won't here it's BGM in a game.

It roughly means "Day of Fate - Soul Vs. Soul"

i would say spirit, because you can find it translated as that. soul is indeed right but look "Ghost in the Shell" was intentionally translated with ghost because that word has the special meaning

but i prefer your translation "Day of Fate" i'd said "Fatal Day" but desitny is again such a word as "ghost, spirit, soul, ..." etc.

And this song kicks all kinds of ass. I love it. I was so disappointed when I got the remastered dvds with the "original japanese soundtrack", and they had this song removed! They just had no music at all during his transformation. It sucks :'(
