@Betaeter He is discussing techniques used by small cadres of conscious seditionist, working within the larger ranks of radical activist organizations, who were directly or indirectly under the control of the KGB or other Soviet-Bloc intelligence assets, to deliberately transform moreorless non-violent political protest into destructive riots, as part of a larger campaign designed to paralyze, polarize, destiblize, and ultimately subvert American society.
@Betaeter The discussions of specific tactics would have logically been part of an overall explination on the dynamics of how to consciously influence large crowds through the deliberate actions of a 'nervous system' of individuals (agents) dispersed within the crowd and in essence guiding its actions to achieve a specific or general objective.
The Soviet Union was never that shy about admitting its aims, I guess that's why nowadays stupid American kids think the Cold War was some radicalized-American time period rather than a massive issue taken up with despotism.
