  • "The Testicles of Amelia" --well played.

  • Have you got a tablature or partiture about Corcovado?

You play very well all songs.

    Congratulations.

  • C'est Sensé Etre Triste ! Donc Je Pense que Tu Devrais Jouer Cette Magnifique Musique Un Peu plus Lentement ... Et Avec Plus D'émotion ...J'espere Que Tu ne prendras Pas Mal Ces Critique :D Sinon Tu as Beaucoup De Niveau :D

  • so many harmonics..... a good guitar helps you!

  • great !!!!

  • Nice, sensitive interpretation.

  • very nice playing !!

  • @Christos32xx

    thanks!

  • I only knew the piano-version of Federico Mompou and always thought it's a Mompou piece. Thank you!

  • beautiful harmonics and emotion. loved it.

  • I play this song too!

    It's very nice =)

  • Maravilhoso;

  • This reminds me of my first love. This is her voice so I love it. I hope she sees this, because I have no idea where she is to send this to her ...

    Thanks man. Great job.

  • good job ;)

    i play this song to

  • at 0:22 I though it the B in this song was a flat. Unless you are not supposed to play it flat in that section or something. That chord still puzzles me so much.

  • you're probably right. I get sloppy with my memorization sometimes.

  • me aprendi una version mas refacil pero igual suena bonita, la cago, es bacan

  • before some one die, he write this song and he played it then he die ; a characteristic song to play in a movie.

  • esta muuy chido el testamento te felicito ande me da trsitesa escucharlo ...

  • Currently figuring out how to play it, but the harmonic places kills me. I can play a lot of songs with guitar, but this is something else.

    Great job.

  • i remember that one from when i was a teenager taking guitar lessons. great job man!

  • Wery nice "flute sounds" You have nice unique sound. Beautifull song with harmony

  • Wow slow down this a romantic piece or a some people think its a dramatic song of death but either way slow down other then taht good job

  • nice finger work. very skillful.

  • Wow my loves name is amelia this reminds me of her. i must learn it by valentines day :)

  • Cool! I have just learned to play that song myself, and i have to say that you did a great job staying on beat even through the hard parts.

  • beautiful . simply beautiful

  • güzel çalmışsın

  • This is really a very nice interpretation - I personally like the faster tempo, even though this is a lament. Those two pull-offs in the last phrases are surely sobs .. they could be held longer

  • çok hızlı çalmış.. Andante espressivo 108

  • are the octave harmonics in the original song? ive been in many debates on this topic. But very well played none the less.

  • first i gotta tell ya...that's the greatest username on youtube.

I'm pretty sure this arrangement has harmonics in it. There's really no original song. It's a folk tune. But you know that already.

  • i have a recording of Miguel Llobet playing this with harmonics. It's a Catalan folk song which he arranged with harmonics. As far as I know this is the more popular version.

  • nice, i agree with triubleclef i wouldn't slow it down. also, i like the sound of your guitar

  • thanks!

  • Very nice as allways!

  • You hit my mind!

  • Thanks "troubleclef". Nice job. Miguel Llobet was one of Tarrega's most distinguished students. Frederic Noad's Solo Guitar Playing book has some of the notes ringing in the background just a bit longer (song #40 p.200). Nice artificial harmonics too. After experimenting, I've found using the left hand pinky finger for the last nat. harmonic notes 12th fret gives it the "softest" touch. Regards...

  • A tad slower, more cantabile -- it's a song for heaven's sake, not a waltz. You make one error: you play a b-natural (wrong) instead of a b-flat (correct) in the chord [b-flat, f, g-sharp, d] in measure 13.

  • makes a nice waltz... :)

Anyhow, thanks for the heads up on the note. i'll be checking that out.

  • That was beautiful, as are all of the pieces I've heard you do here. Thanks for sharing them, you are inspiring!

  • Very nice but slow down a little! Very good overall though!

  • slow down? really? I'm all in favor of playing it slower but this seems to match most players I've heard. Any slower and it'll really be a dirge..lol

  • Actually, it is a dirge, of sorts. Upon listening again I think that the problem is not speed, per se. Your technique is very good but you need to let the melody and accentuated notes breathe. Even go so far as to add a little vibrato. This piece is supposed to communicate the sense of anguish and loss of a beloved daughter. Like I said, you play it quite well!

  • True, but it's also a simple folk song. I think Victoria de los Angeles version (piano and vocal, not the Llobet) isn't super slow. Thanks for the insights.

  • Well done!

  • Great piece.... my friend... :)

    cheers,

    Alex

  • Love this. Is this your own arrangement? I bet it would sound lovely on the harp.

  • I've hit a gold mine

  • Nuevamente que hermosa canción ¿ no podrias tocar en guitarra Mañanita Caraqueña de Evencio Castellano ? lo agradeceria mucho!!

  • I'm sure Amelia would have felt much better if she'd heard you playing these flageolet lines. Awesome. :)

  • Sad, BEAUTIFULL tune!
