  • LXSGodzilla: Bond of Agony is 1 Black mana plus X additional to cast. Your combo would work if that X wasn't in the casting cost.

  • K here is a Turn 1 Kill Combo ... Swamp,Dark Ritual,Taste Of Blood,Bond Of Agony ... My friends hate playing bubble magic with me when i use this combo ...

  • a 7 card combo that requirs you draw them all in your initial hand. That doesn't sound impossible at all. Nice Mussorgsky music though!

  • Proxy Way:

Turn 1: Black Lotus, Show and Tell, Emrakul.

    Opponent: Scoop.

  • @al0ndite still not winning in the first round..... as Emrakul has no haste you can "only" deal 15 damage to the opponent.... well, you win of course, but not in the first round =P

  • @vaisards then drop a forest, tap it to play a corcordant crossroads, and then play your lotus, tap for 3 blue, drop show and tell and pow ;)

  • This.. is no fun at all.

I hate people using infinite combos or anything else completely exaggerated.

Casual magic play is way more fun. I don't want to win as fast as possible, but at least be sure to win.

  • that deck is not consistent in winning!!!

  • Voslyn.. Ya.. You are only allowed to have 4 of each card in your deck there dick tree

  • Have a deck just like this.. Works well

  • Can't tap that elf for mana...bs

  • @deanceezy so true it doesnt have haste

  • @deanceezy You sacrifice the elf you dont tap it.

  • @deanceezy lol you're joking right?

  • 1 red mana, 1 spark elemental, 2 blazing shoals , 2 moji of the infinite rage, game on first turn

  • how do you tap charbelcher it can't tap the turn it comes into play...

  • Night on bald mountain

  • @dienstagsspiel and then your opponent plays fog, and you are left with nothing but one life....

  • I don't understand how this wins. Could someone please explain it to me?

  • My deck, original construction:

    25 Black Lotus

    25 Ancestral Recall

    10 Lightning Bolt

    Wins 1st time every time.

  • @voslyn Um, your only allowed to have 4 of a single card...(except basic lands) so really this deck doesn't work

  • @jabuzz5 i'm aware.

  • @voslyn good shit :)

  • force of will . I WIN

  • Leave 4 Lianowar Elves and 4 Birds of Paradise for 4 Elvish Spirit Guide and 4 Simian Spirit Guide!

  • Bosses get Overgrown Tombs instead of Bayous. Bosses also apparently play Llanowar Elves instead of Tinder Wall because self sac outlets are apparently stupid!

  • sorry if i am wrong but the llanowar elve produce no mana in the firt round?

  • @azraelcelle The Llanowar Elf wasn't tapped for mana. It was sacrificed so then he could use 'Culling the weak'. You could use any creature that cost 1 forest really.

  • @azraelcelle he dont use it for mana... he sacrifice it for culling the weak...

  • how the hell are we im i gonna get the money fir 4 lions eye dimonds!!!!!

  • the only way to keep up with this is if you're literally creating the deck throughout the video :P

  • and that's why FOW is so important :)

  • as soon as i heard this music i wrote this comment and left the page...

  • You had seven cards out there, which means if this is your first turn, you had the draw. Fair enough. But the only reason you would keep a hand like that was to pull of the combo, but you'd be hoping that the card you draw on your turn is the card you need for it, which would be dumb.

  • REDIRECT

  • easier method: you need(for the first round kill) 2x Dark ritual 1x Swamp 1xLotus petal 1xRaging Goblin 1x Hatred...

Play the Swamp and the lotus Petal.

with the lotus petal you play the Raging Goblin.

with the swamp you play the dark ritual two times.

So you have 5 black mana in your pool.

Play Hatred on Raging Goblin and attack. WIN!

Hatred abtilities: Pay X Life: A Creature gets +X/+0 for the end of turn, where X is the payed life.

you pay 19 life points the goblin gets +19/+0.

  • @dienstagsspiel then when you pay the LP for the boost, he goes, Stifle. oh but you say no blue mana, then you FOW the Hatred... simple as that.

  • @dienstagsspiel do the math: then your both tied for one heath...wait, nevermind

  • @dienstagsspiel Or you could have these five cards: 2X Lotus Petal, 1X Island, 1X Show and Tell, 1X Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. The other two cards in your hand don't matter at all!!!!!!!!! sac both petals use your island to cast Show n tell which allows you to pull out this 15/15 creature. And when he comes into play take another turn after this one!!!!

  • @skillaonthebeat2011 Why not play 1xDark Depths, 1xBlack Lotus, 1xLotus Petal (or a Mox or Sol Ring), 1xVampire Hexmag, and 1x Lightning Greaves. Or you could do the old Black Lotus+Mountain+Channel+Fireball. Both of those are 1st turn wins.

  • @dienstagsspiel responce befor damage... gut shot gg

  • I like the part where he builds a sub-optimal build of a sub-optimal deck.

  • Elves can't tap turn 1.

  • @MetalViper85 he didnt tap he sacrificed it

  • @MetalViper85 They arent tapping? He sacked it for 4 black.

  • unfair.

  • Videos take the fun out of figuring out stratagies...

  • Um... yeah, I just heard of this game, and I HAVE NO IDEAD WHAT EVERYBODY IS SAYING!!!

  • 2 words, flash hulk, way better than this, you win on turn 0

  • @dotc277 flash is banned in legacy, his deck is entirely legal

  • I battled against this deck once, and it works... it really hurts :S

  • would anyone here say this is a pretty good deck? cause i have most of these cards i wanna know if it has good win potential consistently

  • @SwettYnRedy uh. YA!!

  • @SwettYnRedy It works... and it hurts... :S

  • man, wouldn't it be nice to have the perfect hand every game. I wish i was as lucky as this guy. Instead i get stuck with Painter's Servent and Grindstone. Lame <.<

  • this has to be like a 1 in like ~60^4 chance of getting this hand

  • ummm, save a step pr 3....memnite

  • Do you use mana to attack? or do you only use mana to summon?

  • Just saying, he never taps the Llanorwar elves for mana, he just immediately sacs it for 4 black with culling which doesn't require tapping.

  • this wouldnt work in one turn just because you cant tap LL Elves(or any creature for that matter) for their ability the turn you bring them out.

  • @gothikgamer meaning you agree?

  • @gothikgamer do you even PLAY magic the gathering?

  • @synysterdillon yes, some creatures are able to use their abilitys on the turn you play them, for example, many creatures on the collection scars of Mirrodin.

  • @gothikgamer alright, i take back my disdainful comment a few minutes ago.

but i play in tournaments and stuff like that man. Only creatures with Haste can use there tap ability the turn you play them.

you can use any abilities with mana costs or sacrifices that first turn, but you cant Tap them for there own abilities without haste. ive learned the hard way. i even double checked the players guide that came with my Phryxian Poison deck. Summoning sickness affects both attack and tap.

  • @synysterdillon oh ok, didn't know summonig sickness affected tap

  • @gothikgamer unfortunately for a lot of my cards, it does =/ especially my elf deck. i have a sick elf deck that would benefit from being able to do that despite summoning sickness lmao.

  • @synysterdillon you cannot tap creatures to activate ability they might have that cost tapping.

However, if an ability say something like, "Tap a creature you control: Deal 1 damage to target creature or player," You can tap creatures even if they don't have haste, while they have summoning sickness.

Just as an example, Grand Architect can tap himself to generate mana right after he enters the battlefield.

  • Lol @ Night on Bald Mountain. Good choice.

  • This is a terrible belcher list. There are more than first turn kills out there but belcher, when built correctly, is probably one of the most consistent legacy ones.

  • most people play 0 cost creatures . Ll elves is never seen in a serious belcher deck. cards like battle sphere you can lay for free saving you from needing that spirit guide and maybe in place of a dark ritual or something.

  • meh.

  • your single win condition sucks. You can't even trade your one win card out for another without jackin up the whole deck...

  • @Crimineenor its called charbelcher and wins consistently in tournaments. go read a forum or something before you sound stupid

  • MAGIC THE GATHERING A MOVIE

    /watch?v=L-vM1vQlKjU

  • the best, is u got mountain, then elvish spirt guide.

    and black lotus.

play the mountain and sac the lotius for 3 green mana

play healing leaves to give u 3 life and the extra 2 mana for channel.

THEN u empty it all into a fireball and pow someone just died

  • omg, this deck is easy for me,i have infinite counters!!!!

  • hey what's the name of this classic music???

  • There's a lot of ways to win on the first turn, but almost always requires unreal luck.

Here's something that can work but you'll probably never see, first turn win:

Play swamp, play black lotus. Dark ritual, dark ritual (5 black total), sacrifice black lotus for 3 red mana. Use 5 black and 2 red to summon Phage the Untouchable. Use last red mana to cast Fever charm to give Phage haste. Phage attacks, and her ability makes them instantly lose.

  • @SurrealityCheck It doesn't really require unreal luck. It will happen quite often if you are playing a deck build for it, the downside of such decks are their vulnerbility to force of will.

    Legacy:

1-Land Belcher. Average win turn 2.25

And if we go vintage it get's even worse.

  • Yes, this deck isn't unbeatable, but it's a very smart idea, I should prove it

  • fail. summoning sickness. llanowar elves cant tap for mana the turns its played try again next time.

  • @PicklesTehClown He's not tapping it for mana. He's sacrificing it to culling the weak to add 4 black mana to his pool, rather than tapping it for one green.

  • @PicklesTehClown you fail, he never taps it

  • i will agree. winning on the first turn is't any fun... however, you guy are very, very smart!!! I love the way you think!!!

  • ok lets just say u dont have the perfect hand on turn one..... and ur deck crap on u on turn 2 and its my 3rd turn.... i tap 1black 1blue and 1 colorless.....MIND FUNERAL.... ur deck gets owned.. lol

  • @killerofallppl2007 And he boards in the red elemental blast he has in his sideboard.

  • @schnauzerhead Cant play the blast no red. not only that how did he produce black with no land? this mess is out of order, first the spirit guide then the elf, then the petal, then culling the weak, get out the belcher, but this leaves you open to Force of WIll. and not only that, you have no red mana. no counter blast. so :p

  • ...and then the first card you reveal is a land and you top card for the rest of the game.

  • Is anyone else stoked about the new tcg coming out called MEGA tcg?

It is the sickest game ever! all the cards are song names like Stairway to heaven, Enter Sandman, etc. plus it is going to have major tournaments all across the US with $10,000 cash prizes for the winners.

They have some pre-release cards for sale already

go to google and type in:

    enter sandman trading card

should be the 2nd search result

  • still a sad counter spell from losing including mindbreak trap if u try to pop it off first turn

  • counter target spell

  • @vandanum Hahahah yup, I love saying this in this kind of situation xd

  • @Sydek93jm it's like cc-c--c-c-c-coo coombo breaker

  • @vandanum exactly, it's a triangle of weakness:

    -combo: strong vs aggro

    -control: strong vs combo

    -aggro: strong vs control

I use a legacy control monoblue deck based on 2 morphlings, some back to basics, 2 powder kegs, 3 vedalken shackles 13 counters (included 4 fow) and I haven't lost vs a combo one yet xd

  • @Sydek93jm

when i was playing MtG in 2000...i used

monoblue deck with 2 morphlings 4 counter spell

    4 miscalculation 4 rewind 4 rethink 4 mana leak

4 foil 4 thwart 4 daze 2 brine seer 4 somnophore and somthing else

    i don't remember

  • @vandanum that's also a good one ;O

  • This deck costs $385.87.

  • @Trentisbeast1

Cheaper than alot of standard decks nowadays.

  • this deck is not legal. check the restricted list for type 1. Lotus petal, chrome mox, maybe more. Tutor possibly?

  • @ak9tyOne try checking 1.5 since he said it was legal in leagacy

in leagacy there are no restricted cards only banned cards and none of these cards are banned

  • Comment removed

  • Let's clear a few things up: This deck is 100% legal in the current legacy format. Land Grant allows to get any land with the basic land type Forest, including Overgrown Tomb, Bayou and Murmuring Bosk. Llanowar Elves played in this 'god' hand never taps for mana, and does not need haste. It is merely a sac outlet to Culling the Weak. Charlbelcher doesn't ever need to actually reveal a land since it doesn't mill your deck, it just reveals cards until it hits a land or the deck ends.

  • mind break trap ftw, fail deck? add in force of will no chance

  • @kelevra7734

Mind break trap isn't that good, it only works as a counterspell that lets you take down a few enchantments as well.

Creatures and artifacts aren't spells after they're resolved.

  • hahaha anything is possible with lion's eye diamond, gotta love it ;)

  • Comment removed

  • wwwwwwwoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaa

  • It seems not all of your cards cant work on the first turn since they have (flip ->) icon (Like Llanowar elves) on them. You DO NEED Haste on your creatures to either attack on the first turn OR use their (flip ->) abilities. Abilites with (flip ->) icon ARE ALSO affected by summonig sickness and thus you cannot use them on your first turn. Deck is still a nice combo, but I guess some of those cards may be banned from some formats.

  • Comment removed

  • @Pablothus Why Creature NEED Haste? explain me plzzz

  • hummm... fow ?

  • I've done 1st turn wins with Belcher. Feels good man:

    opticfox com/mtg.htm#belcher01

  • Force of will. I won.

  • @graffgoset

    Timetwister, Nice Try.

  • @graffgoset pact of negation: you suck xD

  • @graffgoset that doesn't necessarily make you win. it would definitely stop his shenanigans though lol

  • @graffgoset

Exactly. This is exactly why Force of Will is such an awesome card. Opponent would try setting up this instagib combo, would try to cast Goblin Charbelcher, then get countered, leaving them with 6-7 cards spent for a Land and a Lion's Eye Diamond.

As for this deck itself - needs its own Force of Will, or Pact of Negation.

  • @graffgoset

or just play 1land-belcher, cause it's better - empty the warrens > fow

  • @graffgoset thats why they SB in elemental blasts and silence. and not every legacy deck runs counters.

  • @graffgoset he could sideboard or mainboard in pact of negation since he won't have to worry about his next upkeep

  • YAY i can count to 7, isnt magic fun. i HATE combo decks

  • @T3hbigA you dont need to tap the elf card, just sacrifice it, therefor the summoning sickness is not taken into effect. Message me for any questions on rules.

  • is it lidgit to use that much llanowar elfs with cunning wish to make more.

  • yes you can, legally, its called dragon storm and the luckiest hand ever

  • You can't tap elves at first turn.

  • beast

  • i know a much better combo

  • crap deck original god's deck is better ....

  • if you never reveal a land then the combo does not work .. the damage will never be triggered if there is no lands ... but if there is a land card in line before 20 dmg .. lthen you're screwed cause you have to wait for more mana to activate charbelcher

  • @bc71766 dont think the the damage will be triggered .. cause the card says ... reveal cards until you reveal a land

... that means no land .. = no dmg

  • @bc71766 Yes this combo does work. I've talked to many judges and if there's no reveal, the ability triggers, just like it does for Oath Of Druids. My friend Geoff has two decks, one combo Charbelcher like this one and an Oath Of Druids combo. I've seen both, and they both rape face. Its not bad as the Ad Nauseum, Tendrils combo deck lol. That deck will eat your children for lunch.

  • OHHHHH he payed 2 life to keep overgrown tomb untapped, he didnt mention that but its a great combo

  • You cast lotus pedal, tapped and sacrificed it for a green, played Llanowar elves, you removed elvish spirit guide from the game to add one green to your mana pool, so you have one floating green and a Llanowar elf in play. How are you able to cast Culling of the Weak with a green mana?

  • @entrailsgalore He used that green to play Land Grant, which let him search out an Overgrown Tomb, a forest card that also happens to be a swamp. THEN he tapped the Tomb and sacked the Elves to play Culling the Weak, then Lion's Eye Diamond, then Charbelcher and win.

  • @ratchet1215 Ah ok the combo makes sense now, I thought he was going in order of cards he was casting, he was just showing the hand you need. I guess it helps to watch the entire video all the way through haha

  • sorry friend but you made a mistake on your 2nd play. you cant tap llanowar elves for mana the turn it hits the battlefiel so that throws the whole idea off balance.

  • @magicTHEgrixis he makes a good point.

  • @1just2confused3 thanks

  • MAGIC THE GATHERING SONG -Raveyard- Its a aggrotech song about magic the gathering. With real nerdy lyrics-. Go to my profile to listen to it. Its the top video. CHECK IT OUT ;)

  • I'll give ya'll the best combo ever:

"Stuffy Doll" paired with "Guilty Conscience" AND/OR "Pariah"

  • stuffy doll is better with pariaths shield. atleast thats my opinion.

  • this deck suffer the force of will too much, I prefer ad nauseam deck, that play orim's chant, silence or pact of negation to protect the combo.

  • song from KH1 Right? while fighting that devil thing?

  • Modest Mussorgsky Night on Bald Mountain

  • lol i could have sworn this song was on the KH1 Fight...

  • Comment removed

  • wtf ?! never play landgrant at the beginning of your turn - that's fucking low ...

your enemy nows what your handcards are ...

get it in play at the end of the action

this deck is to low ... put in red. seething song, rite of flame, desperated ritual, simian spirit guide -.-" and use bayou instead of overgrown tomb

get out this useless creatures like llanowar or birds. you just can use them if you have culling.

i think it would be better when you have 2 lands in your deck(bayou & taiga)

  • how does overgrown tomb count as a forest?

  • Forest Swamp. Look it up.

  • yeah found it, my bad

  • Comment removed

  • Why not use ornothopter's and other 0 mana cost creatures instead of Lianawar Elve's and Elvish Spirit Guide?

  • the whole point is to get charbelcher in play as quick as possible. elvish spirit guide is only there to discard from your hand since you have so little mana sources realy. the deck doesnt require blockers so llanowar elves are there along with birds for acceleration

  • Llanowar elves doesn't have haste so this first turn thing is bogus... It can't tap for mana until the next turn.

  • He never taps the elf for mana. He simply sacrafices it to get 4 black.

  • you dont tap it for mana. you use it to sacrifice as an additional cost for culling the weak

  • but if you have no land in your library, you finish the cards and it's a draw

  • Mountain, Black Lotus, Channel, Fireball

    End of the game.

  • force of will

  • Comment removed

  • awesome

  • You fags walked straight into my trap card

    A costly mistake!!

  • wat if you run into a mountain before dealing killing damage?

  • Do you see a mountin in the card list? There are no mountains....

  • i said mountain but i meant land of any type. goblin charbelcher only works if it never hits a land

  • there is no land except the one overgrown tomb...^^

  • Winning on turn 1 isn't any fun... it's only useful in tournaments. I play Mtg for the intellectual challenge involved in skillfully defeating my friends, who are trying to do the same to me. Still,

    Combos=Kewl.

  • I agree. Plus: There is no challenge to make a deck with only one tactic to win. It's easy but it has no playable value what so ever.

  • The irony is that most decks employ one basic strategy to win. Alternative win conditions don't generally work out in comparison to a focused deck.

  • focused deck is exactly what I like. sorry, my english has it's flaws but I meant exactly having focused strategy like: counters or stealing and having alternative card combinations for winning with this one focused strategy.

  • @Nike8f7 In general combo is a very focused strategy as well. It's just that building the above isn't something that you should go for. There are tons of great combo decks though. :)

  • @Nike8f7 In general combo is a very focused strategy as well. It's just that building the above isn't something that you should go for. There are tons of great combo decks though. :)

  • @AriWeber i played magic becuase it was fun and i like it...
