My mother was diagnosed with Histiocytosis x as a child. back in 1995, she took sick and she lost all of her hearing in her right ear and about 80% of her hearing in her left ear. she wears a hearing aid to help. after her treatment back in 1995, it went into remission. this past Christmas she started getting lots of headaches.. turns out that it came back and now she has to go in for treatment again. she's 55 years old and one of the strongest people I know. I hope your son is well.
