This jailbreak didn't work well for me. I have an iPhone 3g with MB boot rom fyi.

Caused my phone icon to disappear, Cydia icon was blank white and cydia did not function, I also was unable to connect to the internet via 3g or wi-fi.... More problems but can't think of them off the top of my head. Either way, was fairly easily fixed, just letting people know that if you have the same model as me, you may want to seek a different jailbreak. peace.

after the pineapple loading screens are done and it reboots, instead of booting, it stays on the startup screen. after a few moments the swirly loading circle shows up but isn't moving. if i leave my phone alone for 5 minutes or so, the circle goes away and comes back.

Im doing it right now man its intense after so many hours invested I can finally see the fuken pineapple! I had the Firmware 3.1.3 on my 3g and I thought I was doomed but I found out that you should save your Firmware as ".ispw" if you did it correct you should see a file shaped like a cube!

Mine has successfully been jailbroken, but I can't tether any carriers. It just says searching. I've rolled back all of the firmware and am now successfully running 3.0, but I cannot call out. if you have 3.1 firmware it will freeze at the "downloading jailbreak data" screen, you will have to wait for redsn0w 0.9 to come out to jailbreak if you upgraded to 3.1 firmware
