Takamine TAN46C - How does it sound ?

Nice Mid Range type sound. Not quite as boomy as the Martin

I own a less expense model and I love the sound, The Nex body cutaway is easy to play all the neck and the fat lower body gives a smooth low end sound without being a jumbo . I always have a professional shop do my setup and is money well spent and my fingers don't hurt .

I had a Takamine AN46 and the neck was really really thin, so much so that it was hard to fret without semi muting the other strings nad I don't have particularly big hands. It was incredibly annoying because the guitars sound was beautiful I sold it in the end due to this problem.

takamine are difficult to play but once you get the hang of it its a wonder...!

LOVE TAKAMINE but im sorry i dont belive a jasmine sounds better than a 3,500 martin now my ALVAREZ YAIRI might but not a jasmine..........

A good, full, well-balanced sound. I thought the Martin D45 sounded better, but not enough to justify spending thousands more!

i played a $3,500 martin yesterday and my $88 Jasmine by Takamine sounds just as good!!!!!!!

i have had martins ovations and fender acoustics i now own a takamine EAN10c great guitar love it Takamine really makes nice guitars just like everybody else they make cheap stuff but you buy a japan made tak you wont be sorry

@guitarslinger75 As an owner of an EAN10C myself, I agree with you, but to be fair, I have yet to try out a few Martins and Taylors.  Only then will I really know.

I have many guitars... my two favorite are my '73 Martin D-35 and my '75 Takamine F-400S which WAS a 12 string, but I only have 6 Martin Marquis Lights on it right now and the sound... TRUMPS the Martin, big time... but then, I like harsh bright blare filled guitars that can also reach REALLY low!, due to this ones big box... I love it!
