He's does make some right assumtion, but fails to realise some important things. We as a human race, are already studying how to terraform other planets, and soon we will have many new sources for energy. A more advanced civilication would not need to take advantage of us. They would have all the energy they need, and this would give them more freedom. It's likely that they would see us as an enrichment of the universe, the same way we think of nature and animals.

TOTAL BULLSHIT. Any species that has unwrapped the riddle of FTL has mastered "resource management". This whole concept is fundamentally ABSURD and makes mockery of all the serious research being done in the UFO/alien contact arena.

do you really think so? we have mastered quite a bit. from nobel to oppenheim we have learned only how to kill more efficiently and at a distance. do you think others would do better than us? His concept of "resource management" is ludicrous on it's face. The entire UNIVERSE is a resource. As to your questions, others would HAVE to do better than us or they would annihilate themselves before ever achieving space travel on an interstellar scale.
