I have just heard a radio documentary on this group recorded at Port Fairy Folk Festival Australia, and I am happily stunned. Even though they were severely jet-lagged, and the audience were largely mono-lingual, Genticorum gave an extraordinary cultural tour of Quebec and their rich repertoire. Merci beaucoup.

The first time I saw these guys I was just knocked over... so beautiful, such fun, and wonderful music. I love to see Alex on fiddle joining Pascal... and I ALWAYS love Yann and his guimbarde.

He is speaking perfect English, and is talking about how we all "sing better" in the shower, and that the fiddle player as the newest member has composed two Shower head Reels - a Reel being a tune which accompanies a Folk Dance Reel. They have a humourous patter between songs in French and in English - a persuasive argument for bi-lingualism.
