  • Ali got the benefit from judges, Norton should have two victories against him.

  • @slippyal2 and lyle, and frazier in the 2nd fight george should of beat floyd patterson but the judges screwed him.

  • No he didn't beat Ali the second time. Ali clearly won. Ali got better hits in and was dominating the whole fight. No disrespect though. George Chuvalo's great.

  • @truebeliever786 I disagree. Chuvalo won that fight.

  • @atmoi666

No way, Ali got in far more hits and was dominating the fight. Chuvalo had a very hard head and was good at delivering body punches, but Ali clearly won the fight. The first fight was closer than the second fight, but Ali won both of them.

  • @truebeliever786 i wish people who upload fights upload one video per round and every round is uploaded. that way, it's easier to analyze and people commenting below can vote or come to a more objective decision. I think the 2nd fight was closer than the first fight. Chuvalo didn't focus as much on the body and Ali wasn't as fast as he was during their first fight in 66.

  • @atmoi666 Yeah but Ali received far more damage in the First Fight, he went to the hospital with bleeding kidneys....

  • The goof that posted this video says''down here in the states we have a running joke that Canada is full of pansies that can't fight''. Are you fucking kidding?Canadians fight we pound each other on the ice,on the playgrounds and in the bars you dumb fuck Yankee!!! I'll go you right now!!!

  • TOronto Canada!! chuvalo super tough fighter!!!

  • The guy has a lot of class and a great inspiration

  • One man i wouldnt mess with :)

  • Just like the first time,Chuvalo again fought a very good fight against Ali the second time. Ali won it without question, but George - like always- did himself and his country proud. The fight I remember being terrific was Jimmy Ellis and Chuvalo. Ellis could hit and he hurt Chuvalo a few times. I was for Ellis, but I definitely didn' want him to knock Chuvalo down and ruin his biggest claim to fame. Ellis won the decision- I'm going to look now to see if someone has posted it.

  • When I look at the current and past history of George, I think of three words: TOUGH, CLASS, AND CHARACTER. What an amazing guy.

  • Everyone remembers Chuvalo for having a granite chin, and that was true, but he was a fairly good boxer as well. I don't agree with him that he won the 2nd Ali fight, but everyone expected Ali to whip him and the fight was surprisingly close.

  • WHY ARE SOME MANY OBSESSED WITH YOU KNOW WHO????? ALI

  • chuvalo was tough as hell in the ring, but outside was where he really got it. had three sons get hooked on heroin and die, and his wife killed herself.

  • Chuvalo put Ali in the hospital becasue his kidneys were so damaged he was pissing blood. Chuvalo went dncing with his wie after the fight. In a post fight interview, Ali said "I wouldn't fight that man again with a gun!"

  • yea right ali made a mockery of him

  • @Robstailey yup

  • @Robstailey

Yeah, Ali made a mockery of him alright... that's why Ali was in the hospital for a week pissing blood and Chuvalo went and partied the same night of the fight

  • @danielzimmy69 C'mon man. Ali wasn't in the hospital for a damn week. He made a trip to get checked out and was released the same night. He didn't even stay over night.

  • poor guy his sons killed there selfs and so did his wife :(

  • ali was given many decisions he actually lost ( norton twice) because he sold tickets ....

  • Only the third Norton fight was suspicious. I thought it was a draw... Anyone who thinks Ali lost: 2nd Norton fight,Shavers fight,Joung fight,2nd Frazier fight or any other is either: a)Ali hatter b)knows nothing about boxing or c)BLIND

  • @MrUNCLESCAM And repeatedly held opponents behind the head, and would be disqualified for many of his tactics if he fought today

  • Ali faced Frazier 3 times. Clearly lost the first fight and won the last 2 contest . The final fight changed both of them , forever. Chuvalo is a great fighter and person.

  • sore loser

  • @brandonmessage You should research this man's story. You'd never call him a loser if you knew anything about him. I agree Ali beat him. But the man's been through too much in his life to be called a loser by ANYONE......

  • @bandit9874 yea thank u sir for your view, these lil pricks that bad mouth great warriors they dont even know are like shit stains on this net.George is no loser.

  • @bandit9874 well said , even tho ali never knocked him down he smashed him on punches defo

  • Fraizer IS D SHIT

  • CANIDAN BUN

  • genetunney100, why don't you learn how to spell, you idiot!

  • Joe Fraizer was much longer in the hospital after the 1 Ali fight so do you say that he lost the fight since he was in the hospital longer?

Fraizer even say he won all fights against Ali..How about that?

Ali clealy won both fights.Ali was not the same in the 2 fight but he clearly outpointed Chuvalo..

I have never seen any expert or trainer saying that Chuvalo won the 2 fight. All are saying that Ali won easy but that he was not in his prime, so Chuvalo did better but far from enough.

  • So what? Fraizer was longer in the hospital after the 1 fight that he won against Ali..I like Chuvalo but he is talking smack this time..I have seen both their fights and Ali wins hands down in both of them. To fast and simply to good although Ali performance against Chuvalo was not amoung his best showings.. Chuvalo was tough and rugged and was unlucky to not be the world champion. He is a good guy but Chuvalo tries to sell himself a little to much by saying he won the secound Ali fight..

  • @jerven200 That's because Frazier had eye problems he didn't want people to know about.

  • check the records at St. Joseph's hospital. ali was there.

  • Chuvalo is one of the toughest, sturdiest men in the history of sports!

  • hahahaha ne iz Kumrovca je George-Jure,a ne iz Krapine hahahaha...

  • great upload to skip the really loud Oh Canada go to 2:00

  • To je nas Hercegovacki VELIKAN iz Ljubuskog kraja....ZIVIO PRIJATELJU

  • ma nije, to je zagorec iz krapine

  • savy44 ali is clay n he wahad bleeding kidneys from the first fight

    gorego chuvalo is da best

  • Ali punches had some affects on his face, u can see it..lol

canadians are so ugly ..I dont know why

  • I don't know. Celine Dion's voice just grates on my crawl..at any rate, there is no way Chuvalo beat Ali, in either fight. Ali hit him five times to every one.

  • WHATS FUNNY IS THAT NIGHT AFTER THE FIGHT ALI WAS OUT DANCING WITH HIS WIFE AND CLAY WAS IN THE HOSPITAL BLEEDING INTERNALLY, george your my hero buddy

  • I know, ali was a notorious womanizing party machine and clay got exactly what was coming to him! haha.....

  • Chuvalo was out dancing--Clay was elsewhere.

  • 1) What you are saying are the words of George Chuvalo, he can say what he wants to say, no disrespect but the only certain fact is that Chuvalo lost 2x against Ali, there never was no dispute about that.

    2) In boxing you win when you outpoint the guy, or knock him down or tko him. Not who can dance after the fight. Those are the rules, if you don't like them watch an other sport.

  • 3) You should listen close to the interview and the context. Actualy George is making fun, he says he unintentionally hit Ali in the kidneys, causing Ali to end up in the hospital, that's why he says, laughing, the guy in the hospital loses. He actualy never said he won the first fight, he says he won the second fight and admits that Ali wasn't the same fighter then.

  • you are correct

  • i've seen this fight with at least ten people, and not a single person thinks Ali won it.

  • then their idiots

  • what fight were you guys watching? an occassional good punch or some wild body punching is not enough to win. Ali gave him a boxing lesson if you ask me.

  • his country is CROATIA!!!!

  • I know watch the second part he talks about it there.

  • ok.he is my cousin and he is a real legend

  • @zadomspremni1986 but he is canadian though too caus ehe wa sborn there right?

  • @zadomspremni1986 the dude never lived there idiot

  • @ericssson

And? I was born in Canada to Croatian parents, still live here, but I don't call myself "Canadian" or that Canada is my homeland. One thing you must know is that Croatians are very proud people! I call myself Croatian when someone asks me "what is my background", for Croatia is my true homeland. Croatian blood runs through our veins, and that is all. Calling yourself "Croatian-Canadian" is an oxymoron in the Croatian community here. You're considered "Croatian" and that is all.

  • @NaturallyEnigmatic go to croatia and they will call you Canadian now that's an contradictory term, the dude is canadian and says he's Canadian

  • @ericssson

I have been to Croatia many times, and they do not call me "Canadian". I even have a citizenship there in Croatia.

"- When my parents Stipan and Kate came to Canada, they did not know English and we spoke Croatian home, said Slobodna Dalmacija.

Chuvalo became famous at 18 when he knocked on a four tournament... - He was the first CROAT in the world of professional boxing, and during the 21-year career, .... - "

    From bitno.ba

Is there an interview that he says he is Canadian?

  • @NaturallyEnigmatic watch his footage man

  • @zadomspremni1986 grew up and trained in Canada by Canadians.

  • @zadomspremni1986 His parents are croats, but he was born in Toronto, which makes him canadian.

  • I hate this guy with the mike.

  • George"Boom Boom" Chuvalo...one of the toughest fighters EVER

  • the best chin in heavyweight history. With McCall and Cobb as second place contenders.

  • What about Ali?

  • To ph1484:

Sorry it took me a long time to reply your comment. I rate Ali's chin in fourth place. So Ali also had a very good chin.

  • May God bless, George

  • i have a lot of respect for chuvalo; great fighter and never knocked down once in his entire career. very tough guy and hes got a good heart.

  • George is a class act. I remember Mike from when he lived in Allston.
