@checharrua Just because someone joins the military doesn't mean they're poor or stupid. In fact, to be an officer you NEED a 4 year degree. And the military is a great choice if you're thinking about education, because they pay for schooling and there are tons of job opportunities within the military, not to mention you could cross train into a government job. You can retire from the military after 20 years. It's not as bad as you make it sound in your comment.

All enlisted have to at least have a high school diploma (10% get waived) and 100% of all officers have at least a 4 year degree. To advance, a master's is required. Look at the percentage of the world and U.S. population education levels, the military exceeds that. Some of our most influential politicians and business leaders are former military. Educate yourself you fool.
