  • SEE 12 PLANT HYDROPONIC GOES" HYPER PONIC" FOR A COMPLETE GROWING SYSTEM THAT REALLY WORKS WITH A MOVING LIGHT, SUPPER REFLECTOR, LIGHT MOVER THAT INCREASED MY BUDS IN NUMBER AND SIZE. PLANT FOOD WAS INCLUDED WHICH WAS BETTER THAN ANY LIQUID I'VE USED.I COULD PUT MY LIGHT CLOSER TO MY PLANTS AND GET MORE GROWTH SEE VIDEO FOR A TOTAL GROWING MACHINE!!!

  • LED Lights use less electricity come with a fan to keep them cool and can be tuned to the frequencies of light that plants use.

  • anyone know where to download Ganja Farmer by Micky Macdonald?

  • @blafiriravt just for you mate took me 4hours to get this track il pm you a link

  • @blafiriravt did u ever find out where to get that song

  • Recommendations for outdoor grow guides? I'm living in South East Asia... Off to Amsterdam seed buying next month....!!

  • TWO OF THE BEST VIDEOS ON YOU TUBE ARE "HYPER PONICS "-TOTAL HYDROPONIC MACHINE AND" HYDROPONIC EQUIPMENT BUYERS GUIDE" BEST INFO. FOR GROWERS OR BEGINNERS !!!

  • I have 1 plant growing outside, no electricity needed...

  • Fuck haloids and HPS, bitch we got CFLS

  • IS 250 OR 400 watt hps/hid COMBO WORTH IT? iT SEEMS VERY CONVENIENT-The kit is from HTG supply. They have all types of "switchable" ballasts who's kits COME with 2 lights. A HPS and an METAL HALIDE.along with a reflective hood

ARE "SWITCHABLE" BALLAST KITS LIKE THIS,REALLY, WORTH IT?

  • what is the best light to use for a small crop of no more than 10 without having to much infa red in the event that there are hotsweeps in my area?

  • Excellent intro guide. When gardening indoors try not to exceed 1100 PPM on your nutes or you could end frying your plants.

  • can I just use a 100 watt plant light

  • @SHAMWOWfazoodle

"plant light" is what in this case?

  • what about a t-5 flourecent?

  • @dustinusina25 t5 are the best flouros out there. They are small and give off a lot of lumens compared to T12 and T8. They are best for vegging but can be used to flower, just wont have nearly as big of a yield.

  • change the fucking background music once in a while :(

  • for the 54 people that disliked the vid are virgins

  • hell yea ... words of wisdom by a jamacian cat, " .. I grow.. because I love to smoke.." winner! LOL

  • can someone tell me if ive got this right,i havent grown in a couple years so getting confused a bit lol.ive got 5 seeds in paper towels right now, when im about to put them in rockwool,do i soak them in 5.3 ph-5.5,put the seeds in then start giving them light when they are in their propogator? or do i keep them in the dark for a a bit first, then put them under the light? all suggestions appreciated, thanks

  • @1984LizardKing dont u put them in water in a dark place then u plant that shit once they crack.??

  • @RoosterPOX yeagh i ended up putting them in a dark place under paper towels, then when they cracked i put them in rockwool but i put the rockwool in the cupboard for a few days then put them under my light 18/6 working good so far :)

  • @1984LizardKing Nice mangg

  • I'm going to be a know-it-all in my horticulture class next year hahaha.

  • i love smart stoners lol nd dey say weed kills brain cells my ass

  • @cabbagepatch151 whoever says weed kills brain cells are the same people that dont think coffee, tylenol, cough syrup, alcohol or cigarettes are drugs and say they dont use drugs

  • Best grow guide available

  • hi this some Good info

  • technically if ya had the right setup.....can ya grow a plant like 18ft high????? really.....just never switch to the flowering stage does that work?

  • @bogshiteboy Yeah, easy. Some clone plants are several years old. Ive even heard that some people still have clones from clones from clones ... of 70s strains, so basically a 40 year old plant. All in all youre limited only by space.

  • crazy hits on this video , bet it isnt all that AND A BAG OF CHIPS

  • THE narrartor in this video sounds like a douche

  • LED is the future

  • @brian8793 Leds use less watts but do the job right?

  • @JCI1990 Yes they do. There is a video on here where a guy yielded 1.2 pounds with a 300watt led light. They work. There are cheap ones out there, but you get what you pay for.

LED is obviously the future. The fans will get more quiet, the lights will get brighter, and the electric bills will be lower.

    That's all I was saying.

  • And why people who want to buy cannabis MUST intercourse with a mafia, thereby putting themselves at risk and are wary of police persecution? Is it not better if they ACQUIRE Cannabis special place by the State. Where are DIRTY MONEY? Why ordinary people can not engaged in this business, plant seeds, watered, grow, harvest, delivered to the state and thereby earn a living CLEAN MONEY.

  • fucking music's drivin me crazy

  • do you have any idea how much my attention span would have increased if this was playing in high school or college?

  • love it. Thank you for updating.

  • someone help!! im a begginner... bought 1 lamp tht is 175 watts an anothe rone that is 115... is it enough?

  • 6 Dollar Cents...thank you, here it´s 18 Euro Cents per Kw Hour (okay it´s been four years...)

  • the soong pls?????

  • Great vid. Check out some of my grow vids at dhdriller as user name, or nickname seabass. Also OSG, Oregon Survivalist Group

  • thumbs up for pink floyd's the dark side of the moon at 4:37!!

  • Respond to this video... why are my leaves curling up?

  • i got one 5000w flourecent light bulb and 3 plants. is that enough?

  • will a 600 watt hps be too much for a 3 by 3 by 6 closet?

  • @TheSoonernations No, 600W is about the absolute maximum I would use for that space. Just keep the bulb far enough away from the plants and you'll be fine. And you will need sufficient ventilation to prevent heat build-up.

  • Excellent video!

A 1000 watt electronic ballast is the way to go. Don't waste your time with a 600 watt ballast. As soon as you finish your first grow you will be so excited you'll want to up your wattage and output immediately.

So buy a 1000 watt electronic DIMMABLE ballast that offers four different settings. Super Lumens, 1000W, 750W and 500W. A 1000 watt dimmable ballast is like getting three ballasts in one.

  • HPS is the way to go, dont waste time with cfl

  • can anyone link me an email or something... Who does the sensimillia song?

  • The best advice I can give to new growers is this:

Maximum root space + maximum light + maximum veg time = a burning tree

  • FFS its like biology class

  • @rofl082193 It's interesting as fuck if you like weed a lot.

  • Can infared pick up through houses?

  • @sergaiey i watched police camera action the other week, n a guy had a fuckin farm in the attic, n they could only just see a purple haze comin from between the tiles on the heat cam, red=hot blue= cold so it was halfway, so dont make the tiles the top of ur grownroom, build a seperate box so air can disperse the heat, but of course, ur already on their hit list from ur comment

  • @sergaiey Yes.

  • I can feel Big Brother watching me >.>

  • @redwolfmoonhowl there watching the mexicans playa.

  • LEGALIZE IT!

  • CFL light's also work well.

I grew 2 small autoflower plant's in a cardboard box with 1 desk lamp running a 20 watt CFL and that made over 1ounce (dry)

  • looking at that chart the hps bulb has just as much blue if not more than the metal halide bulb.

maybe all you really need is one hps blub for veg and flower

  • @youngron707 ulitimatly the plants absorb and do more photosynthesis in the red spectrum than blue but for flowering plants, natural sun and blue lights however allow plants to not produce the hormones and processes that intice flowering which allows for more foliage and greenery production, which is ideal for vegg. Entire grows with hps work fine but many grows with mh then hps typically outproduce

  • Is there any great grow guidees like this on outdoor growing??

  • what about temperature?

if one lives in a country where theres a lot of sun light + heat, is that good or bad?

    would indoors be better?

  • @Dxox82 Cannabis is a tropical plant so unless you live in a desert you should be ok. 70-90 degrees is the range you want to keep your plants in.

  • @JoeCool031619

mm, what it it was closer to the 103 range?

    & thanks for replying

  • @Dxox82 If you're in a humid area with that heat it will probably be near impossible to grow outside, However if it's a dry heat that will actually benefit your plants b/c cannabis produces extra resin in dry climates to keep the plant from drying out & the more resin the better. Even in an inside grow you should keep your grow room as dry as possible. You can use an air conditioned room &/or install a duct with an inline exhaust fan to pump the heat out. Hope this helps. I'm happy to help..

  • @JoeCool031619 ]

nah it doesnt get that humid. its dry. prettty dry. awesome thanks a bunch xx.

  • but how do i control the temp tho plz reply

  • I Love to Learn ;)

  • @Mzler1387 hahahahaha

  • Hey please can you help me, do you think that in 100x100cm Homebox (3,3 x 3,3 feet) can i grow 16 flowers (each in it's own flower-pot) with 400 W lamp (named: GIB Lighting Flower Spectre HPS)? I know it maybe sounds crazy (16 plants) but the homebox's size allows to get there 16 flower-pots (11liters, 22cm x 22xm)... What do you think? I'm new to this

  • @loveSc7 to small of an area

unless you do mini clones, but if you pop from seed maybe 6 or 8

  • 3'x3' with about 70 clones using 1- 400 watt hps or something in that range, totally wrap in mylar to keep light in, get a fast finishing plant (45 day ) put clones on table ( eb"n"flo) using 4" rockwell cubes, if you give proper food and put these in 12 hour light RIGHT AWAY you will get approx 2.5- 3 lbs in 6 weeks, keep your cubes covered with a white/ black plastic, black down as to keep it dark, get a book and see how easy it is to build ebb N flow table. best yields- loose the flower pots

  • @TheBrowngab incorrect. ebb and flow tables still require the use of a timer to fill and drain the table, thus allowing for human error. A NFT system will have the pump running 24/7 and the yields are much higher than ebb and flow tables for standard vertical growing styles.

  • @squillyb7718 NFT system pumps only need to be on for 15mins every two hours whilst lights are on this always more oxygen to the root system

  • @Powly1966

Please don't give people bad info. You obviously don't know what your talking about. Think, nutrient FILM technique... film,,say it with me, fiiilllmmm.

Nutrient film technique (or nutrient flow technique) provides a continuous flow of nutrient solution over the plants roots. It is the 'stereotype' of hydroponics systems. When most people hear the word, 'hydroponics' they envision a nutrient film technique system.

  • @squillyb7718 ya no shit they need timers or a idiot to sit with them constantly and ya hoses and a drain and a resivoir, air pump ect ect and it's the easiest manner in growing for bulk, and what you said about PH to someone else is correct, if you play around you may find some do great at 6.8 while others do better at 7 play and learn to perfect. been there done that! thanks for your advise

  • @TheBrowngab What I was saying is even in ebb n flow you have a chance at a mistake with the timers where as a NFT you turn it on and leave it on. Only failure there is you mixing nutes wrong or pump burn out. NFT systems offer awesome root zones as well as large yields, just get a pump failure warning alarm and your good. Most plants like a slightly acidic water, rockwool being the lowest at around a 5.7ph

  • @TheBrowngab

70 clones?! Are you nuts?! He would have a horrible yield for the extreme overcorwding that would cause almost no light to ever reach past the upper canopy levels. None of the middle, or lower internodes would see enough light to produce anything larger than a dime (coin) sized flower.

Everything else you said was good except for the yield estimate that is. If grown professionally and the seed is of good genetics you can expect around 500g per square meter which is what you got

  • @loveSc7 yes but its very very inefficient when you obviously have a small space you will need many many plants in order to achieve any sort of continuous growing.

I would suggest just a few plants and a ScrOG. Easier to manage, larger yield and just damn fun for beginners.

  • @loveSc7

Do a little research on ScrOG's, these films are outdated. As I have said in many posts in these vids, outdated but useful to new where it all started.

  • is growinh hydroponicly better than dirt? also should i trust getting seed out of the high time mags of off the internet is aa fake soon im going to be a first time grower

  • Hydro is good if you want to grow as fast as possible but i use Coco Fiber which is Soiless Media because i think it brings out the true taste of your strain like soil does......but Coco fiber flushes 4 times faster than regular soil dont trust ordering out of a magazine get clones or seeds locally

  • @hoosh420 good and bad advice. Rockwool is very forgiving for first timers. Coco fiber has its own "flavor" and aroma it adds to the flowers. Flushing your plants well the last week-two weeks will allow the flavor and aroma to return to its natural state. In regards to seeds off the internet, don't forget that Barney's, Amsterdam Seed Co, and others are the very same people that got good seeds to the US to help start what we have now. Try Barney's.

  • @squillyb7718 I found flushing no good, if you feed properly you won't have to rince out the extra because it won't be there, again though it depends on food and breed, some strains are simple and other require alot of work to find out exactly what they need to do well, alittle less a little more until you figure it out.

  • and i have my Ca Medical licence so im legal to grow and Medicate

  • Has anyone tried LED lights yet?? I'm going to.

  • @longrockwoman they are fine for veg not so good for flowering

  • can you flower a plant after just 2 weeks from it being a seedling?

  • You can flower pretty much anytime, but optimally you should wait at least 2 more weeks. You won't get much bud otherwise.

  • @mista1kaos no no no, unless you know the sex already you could be wasting time and energy. Let it veg to four to five weeks, take a few clones, veg those for a couple weeks then flower one of the clones. If you get a female, after two weeks of flowering, now you can flower the other clones, or, the mother and keep the clones to make new moms. good luck

  • wats the name of the song in the beginning of chapter 1

  • i just got a metal halide light. will it use much electricity?

  • How many watts is it? 600 watts is like 5-6 amps worth. 1000 is 8-9. Usually in a 15 amp room, it can handle up to 1600-1700 watts safely. Hope that answers your question..

  • yea man thx

  • @GanjaWizard420

    where did you get it?

  • Hey Guys/Gals I have a Question. I bought two fluorescent 48'' Eco Lux Technology Plant and Aquariam lights. I have them 3 ft away from my 1 week old plants 10 to be exact, is that enough light for my closet? Also I bought all organic soil and food is that ok?

  • As you`re using fluorescents, temperature issues are negligible, so you should draw your tubes closer to your babies (as close as two or three inches away is ok). Fluorescents - as well as all other light sources - lose their illuminating power as it gets farther from the objective, and you want to make use of it as efficiently as possible. Good buds...

  • also i don't have them in separate pots right now, I have them in a long rectangular flower box that is about the width of my lights so i put it so that its squared up to my fluorescent light. Is that ok? My plants are just about 2 weeks old from seedlings

  • Dude get them seperate now or you will kill off the root systems if you try to transplant later. Start with one gallon then move to three gallons. I can fit ten in 3 gallons in my closet. Also get HID and have you been testing your pH? Use vinnegar or baking soda so maintain proper pH. Test the water leaving the pots aswell to ensure you are not leaving nut salts in the soil. Remember to flush weekly. Feed twice a week.

  • @DublySure bad bad advice here. Its very hard to "kill" the root system once established. I trim my roots to control upward spreading over a screen system. If all 3 plants are being flowered at the same time your ok, if not cut them apart. MOve the lights closer was good advice. Using vinegar and soda are NOT good ideas for controlling PH, buy a kit, its $10 and one of the most important things you'll own. And feeding schedules are a whole separate topic.

  • Get the light close as you can. Switch to 400 watt MH for veg and HPS for flowering. I have 10 in my closet under 400 watts. I'm using all organic nuts and expect to have great results as usual. Keep at it.

    -D

  • Put your lights 3 INCHES or so away from your tops. Make sure you have some air movement across the tops of your plants. If you have trouble keeping your chamber cool then you may have to raise the lamp some.

If you see the edges of leaves curling up then you know you have temp issues and pull the lamp away some or increase airflo across the plants.

  • organics rock - I like Advanced Nutrients myself...great nutes and great folks on the customer service line. Love em. That lighting setup sounds right. Never grown a setup like that tho.

  • My plant is about 7 weeks old and a foot and a half high with 8 nodes, is it time to switch to my flowering bulb?

  • It's up to you. The longer you keep it vegging, the more yield it will produce. If you're asking if it's ok to start flowering, then yes it is ok.

  • @jacksonsoloist24 Cant just say that though cuz someone will veg for months and end up with a plant that doesnt yeild shit cuz it over grew the space and light that was crucial for the production.

  • @hardope705 It was in reply to someone who was asking if their single 7 week old plant is ready to flower. But what you're saying is true though.

  • So would it be okay to use 2 fluorescent (Cool White + Warm White) bulbs for flowering, then a 200 - 400W HPS bulb for the vegitative room? and would this be too much on a standard house breaker?

  • The fluorescents are only effective for the vegitative growth, cool white and warm white bulbs are required to obtain the needed spectrum for plant stem, leaf, and structure phase, while a HPS and other HID lights are the next best thing to the sun for flowing growth, growin bud with a HPS is much more benificial rather than using fluorescents

  • Yeah my mistake, i got the vegetative and the flowering parts mixed up lol

  • No problem buddy lol.. honest mistake, but the more and more I say it and inform people is the more I yet to learn lol, and i'm only 17 and I been doing this for 5 years ;)

  • no if you use it on a seperate or mildly used breaker, ive been using it fine with mildly used breaker

  • What's the song at the beggining of this video?

  • what the fuck ...confusing process....so what do i use? for finish to start, i dont wanna go through that buying a lot of diff. bulbs stage and what wattage?

  • you could keep it cheap and veg and flower with CFL's. Or you could veg and flower with an HPS, or veg with only MH and flower with HPS. The choice is yours. The more wattage = more light = more robust, bigger plants. Pretty simple...

  • thanx for the advise =)

  • then im fucked

  • when u switch from 18/6 to 12/12 how long does the plant take to realise that its in flowering stage and when it needs more phosphorous?

  • 5-10 days

  • a little over a week usually

  • do need all of this even for just one plant ? I just want to try one plant before I go big any suggestions

  • Compact fluorescent light would be my suggestion.

  • grow it on your balcony

  • No private msg me if you want to no how to grow 1 plant with the least amount you can..

  • It really just depends. The bottom line is you have to do whatever it takes to keep the environmental values within the plants parameters (temps, humidity, lighting). If you want decent nuggz you must use HPS lamps for budding phase. Don't let anyone tell you to use fluorescents. They don't know what's up. Those are only good for cloning. I would recommend at minimum a 250 watt lamp for only 1 plant. Good luck bro!

  • There is a debate about if MH and HPS really matter during the bloom stage. I mean alot of people say the you have to use a HPS during bloom. There is no set in stone proof saying that a Metal Halide can't be used instead. I don't think it's the spectrum but lumens that matter And as for CFL's, i had much success growing one indica and one sativa under 8 26watt ( 100watt equivalent ) 6500k. The Bloom stage took longer but the end product was nice but not as good as HID

  • You're right that there is debate. But if you look at the professional growers (Jorge Cervantes, Arjan from Greenhouse Seed Company) they're all using HPS to flower.

  • color spectrum on HPS is ment for

    flowering, that explains why

  • Not a matter of proper sprectrum? Go buy a couple of halogen projectors and I'll say good luck. Clearly it's a combination of things. There is no one thing that regulates the quality of your bud. You need just the right output, in just the right spectrum. The trick is finding out: How much is "just enough, or "just right". I think a good portion of personal preference is involved here. But expreiments should be conducted to show us when the plant's chemical processes function at their higest

  • It is found that photosynthesis uses the light spectrum from 400 to about 700 but the peaks are 440 blue, 640 red the plants neds all of this spectrum though to grow so as long as that light contains that light spectrum its fine. Also lumens are irrelevant that refers to humans and the intensity of the light. What you want to look at is figuring out the PAR watt (Photosynthesis Active Radiation) this is know as irradiance. So MH have highr par watt but i still use hps works that all that matters.

  • Thanks for the extensive reply. I don't know if you use MySpace, but have a new site devoted to the Medical Marijuana society. It's called the Ohio Compassion Club O.C.C. Please pass the word, trying to get as many supporters as possible. "MySpace (dot) com / OhioCompassionClub

  • What if it's a male....

  • wow great info!

  • lets say you have 1 1000w bulb going how many plants can you grow under 1 bulb 20-50 square feet is huge but how many plants are optimal for that space and light.

  • well a 400 watt hps is good

    enough for 4 plants,

so i take it a 800 watt is good for 6-8

so i take it a 1000 watt is good for 6-8

  • thanks alot for the reply that helps alot..

  • 50 w per sq foot 1 plant per foot

  • can anyone tell me the bes tplace or company to buy seeds...oh and equipment

    yhx

  • attitude seedbank

  • damn gonna burn down the house with that many
