he got hit 6 times total if i counted correctly. And some of the enimies died quickly because when you throw one of them at onother one, it des more damage on titan mode than other modes since your defense is lower. iirc General kratos costume does even more when thrwing an enemy. Shinobier has never posted a fake video give some respect

I got fine back up. There is no way he could kill that Satyr so fast, also when he first got hit by that Satyr he took barely any damage its so obvious he is playing on Normal mode. Plus on Titan mode with how high his magic meter is you only get like 4 chances to use magic he used like 7. There are so many things that gives away that this is normal mode that you overlooked.
@TheTigerfan99 the satyr was hit by collision damage several times that is why he died so fast. the satyr primary strikes never do tons of damage now if he took the entire attack he would probably died or been close to death. and your last excuse shows how little you know about the game. magic consumption does not change between modes so... you have lost because you will never be able to explain the collision damage which is only possible in titan mode.
Um...No Cause I actually have the game. I could get 8-10 magic uses on Normal and 5-6 on Titan. Unlike you think I actually own the game, both the ps2 version and ps3 version.

im doing this part right now titan mode no upgrades and i know for a fact this is not titan mode the translators health in mine goes down from one hit 1 quarter of the way and this is like 1/36 of the way
I have smashed 2 consoles while playing this stage of the game and I actually had to take a break from the game until I finally got through that madness. Watching that was just jawdropping, well done :)

This can not be the titan mode. the player and the translator die more quickliy by damages then here- waht you do..can everyone who played in the titan mode
first: you arent on titan mode, why? because of each red orb you win 4 (like on easy mode) i play GoW 2 long time ago, and i see that your enemies die rly rly quickly. the tian mode gives you only 1 red orb for each little one newbie ¬¬
For the first wave i attacked with the Athena Blades and through them
For the 2nd wave i copied frum this video :D
For the 3rd wave (which caused the most trouble) I won by Using Cronos Rage (lvl 2) and AB (lvl 4) and at least 1 atlas quake.. I didnt use Rage of The Titans. Cronos Rage pretty much stunned most of the enemies so gave me time to focus on the priest which give magic wen they die, so more CR for me :)
In GoW1, Armor and Power (along with foe Aggression) are affected by settings. Spells are immune to settings. Other percentiles are covered by your costume
In GoWII, all percentiles are affected by setting. Costumes further alter this.
CoO works like GoWII (mostly).
None of this relates to enemy spawn count. At all.
Collisions here are proof enough of Titan settings.
So lucky, the second attempt video, three fucking times those monsters were supposed to attack him and THEY DIDN'T! And all it took was one more hit to kill him. Mad lucky.
Never mind, I take that back. Because that's what happen to me. The enemies near the end were focused on me. And all I can think was "Stop teasing my balls, if you're gonna kill him, kill him already!". But I can't believe I beat that! I was stuck on that stage for like two days!

I had everyone beaten, but the barrier was still up. I could hear a priest but he was nowhere to be seen and I couldn't get the translator to read the book. It was a huge piss off.
An alternative method for when the satyrs come (the middle stage) is to run all the way back into the room and move the block of the pressure pad. You can then attack through the gate using barbarian hammer L1 + Triangle until all enemies are dead.
thanx for the tip, it worked realy well except i used the spear instead of the hammer. im tryn 2 do this on titan mode, this parts realy pissing me off. and i thought BK was hard...
Yea managed to het thru it, finished it a few weeks ago now, thanx to alot of help from shinobiers clips! so now what ive got left (wether i even try is another matter) is the NUR TM and get the bonus on the last CotT. Last thing, i'm assuming GK has crap defence and thats y people use him on NUR?
How did you guys figure out the stats given from the costumes? I've been googling for it for a while and can't seem to find anything on them. Also when you say doubling collisions, does that mean that the enemies have an easier time hitting Kratos, or the other way around?
We didn't have to for GoW1 or GoWII (I had to for CoO though >_____> ). It's in the guide.
As for collisions, it is a reference to a mechanic in GoW where when you send a foe into another, damage is dealt by the projectile foe (collider) with the collidee. No extra damage comes to the collider in that exchange alone.
There are two types in GoW1 and GoWII. Full collisions and Knockback collisions. In GoWII, that is mostly as it sounds. Knockback attacks cause half powered collisions.
OH type "Repel" counts as a knockback as well. Lots of grabs, air grabs and OH types cause collisions.
The base is established via your Armor %. At exactly 100% (after difficulty and costume percentiles combine), it deals 10 damage *knockbacks dealing 5*. As our Armor% decreases, collisions INCREASE in power. On Titan, you get 50 damage collisions.
NOTE: Pegasus side dashes are full collisions and foward dash is a 'knockback'.
NOTE2: Rage increases armor the point that whatever collisions you're doing is divided by 3.85 in power.
Costumes with 50% Armor on Titan reduce our defense enough to grant 100 damage collisions. To put that into perspective, Cerberus Breeders have 200HP in GoWII. Tossing Seeds at Breeders can be highly effective.
With this in mind, higher settings can be less about power attacks and more about tossing foes at each other. Grabs themselves aren't affected by settings so they seem stronger
Big VEE, I've seen you i a lot of GOW videos so I guess you are really good at it :P. I've only used PoP almost all the time combined with launches & grabs obviously until now, and I wondered if any of the special attacks of the BoA are useful... I say this cause in GoW I I liked that all my moves were useful till the end of God Mode, and here it seems I can't even use TTT properly, let alone L1+O or L1+S. I hear L1+T can actually be good , but I wanted some advide ;) Thx! (for Titan Mode)
Hey, i've noticed something here. When you're hammering them priests and monsters, i've noticed that your hammer "animation" is so fast. I'm watching this video whilst playing at the same time, and mine just finishes off the animation to where Kratos lifts the hammer to before i can do another 2 swings. Are you doing something some sort of cancel animation? Because I can't hit them priests really fast (even if RotT enabled).
cancel trick with the hammer is pretty simple just needs a little practice. equip the bow or medusas head, I prefer the bow, for some reason it feels better. practice triangle, triangle then quicly hit L2m but dont hold it before quickly going back to triangle again if done smoothly and quickly youl start your second load of hammer hits without the second delay.
Here's a tip for getting through the second wave without losing any magic or health: As soon as you carry the translator to the spot where the second wave starts to spawn, immediately turn around and carry him back into the room he was in. Pull the block off the pressure switch and let the gate close, then equip the hammer or the spear, and just spam the block + triangle move as the enemies run up to the gate. (Note: the satyrs have one move that can reach you, but it's easy to detect/dodge).
As for the third wave, the only tip I have is: DON'T KICK THE DOGS OR THROW THE SOLDIERS TOWARDS THE TRANSLATOR, THEY WILL KILL HIM. It took me a long time to figure out why the hell he kept dying when there were no enemies around him.
s/he is very good but this is do able there are about 4 good ways of defeating the enemies but it took me many many hours trying and lots of luck. check out the general kratos NUR on this part thats a tough coooookie too :) but keep at it and possibly try going left at wave 3 to the priest and killing him quick before killing the natural spawns. er manesh88 or whatever his name is who did the spped run does this so check him out too.however he is doing a speedrun with upgrades but is still cool
i jus did this and i'll say this to anyone stuck here, u need some luck i'd got to wave 3 loadz of times b4 with full evrythin. The time i actuli did it however, both me and the translator had lost about 1/5th of our health. so it goes to show u gotta get a bit lucky to do it

this is bullshit. i've tried the same method but find the following problems occur - there are no dogs around that you can grab and kick to others, and if there are, kratos usually wastes time breaking their neck instead..when going after the summoner in rage and hammer, the others pick apart the translator, and attacking with the hammer is slow. i'm in the same situation, lvl 1 in everything except blades (lvl 4)
furthermore, it is fucking frustrating to die and then to have to go through the first two waves of opponents on the isle again before fighting in the room, its stupid and dumb
10 times????????? i tried it about 100 times before i nailed this. lol then tried it with the bonus costume general kratos lol that took even longer. damn translator
GK means General Kratos, its a bonus costume you get by killing twenty cyclopses and stealing their eyes. This is best done in the arena of the fates which can be unlocked by getting a titan rank in challenge of the titans:)

For my first time through this
For the first wave i attacked with the Athena Blades and through them
For the 2nd wave i copied frum this video :D
For the 3rd wave (which caused the most trouble) I won by Using Cronos Rage (lvl 2) and AB (lvl 4) and at least 1 atlas quake.. I didnt use Rage of The Titans. Cronos Rage pretty much stunned most of the enemies so gave me time to focus on the priest which give magic wen they die, so more CR for me :)

...GoW doesn't work that way.
In GoW1, Armor and Power (along with foe Aggression) are affected by settings. Spells are immune to settings. Other percentiles are covered by your costume
In GoWII, all percentiles are affected by setting. Costumes further alter this.
CoO works like GoWII (mostly).
None of this relates to enemy spawn count. At all.
Collisions here are proof enough of Titan settings.

So lucky, the second attempt video, three fucking times those monsters were supposed to attack him and THEY DIDN'T! And all it took was one more hit to kill him. Mad lucky.

Never mind, I take that back. Because that's what happen to me. The enemies near the end were focused on me. And all I can think was "Stop teasing my balls, if you're gonna kill him, kill him already!". But I can't believe I beat that! I was stuck on that stage for like two days!

I had everyone beaten, but the barrier was still up. I could hear a priest but he was nowhere to be seen and I couldn't get the translator to read the book. It was a huge piss off.

An alternative method for when the satyrs come (the middle stage) is to run all the way back into the room and move the block of the pressure pad. You can then attack through the gate using barbarian hammer L1 + Triangle until all enemies are dead.

SoD is a good weapon, but not for a beginner's first go at Titan. BH is better suited for such a case.

Yea managed to het thru it, finished it a few weeks ago now, thanx to alot of help from shinobiers clips! so now what ive got left (wether i even try is another matter) is the NUR TM and get the bonus on the last CotT. Last thing, i'm assuming GK has crap defence and thats y people use him on NUR?

General Kratos has (with respects to difficulty chosen):
Power - Halved
Armor - Halved (doubling collisions)
HP orb worth - 1/4th
MP orb worth - 1/4th
Rage orb worth - 1/4th
EXP orb worth - 5x *NURs don't use EXP*
~It's all downsides aside from BP conditions and collisions

How did you guys figure out the stats given from the costumes? I've been googling for it for a while and can't seem to find anything on them. Also when you say doubling collisions, does that mean that the enemies have an easier time hitting Kratos, or the other way around?

We didn't have to for GoW1 or GoWII (I had to for CoO though >_____> ). It's in the guide.
As for collisions, it is a reference to a mechanic in GoW where when you send a foe into another, damage is dealt by the projectile foe (collider) with the collidee. No extra damage comes to the collider in that exchange alone.
There are two types in GoW1 and GoWII. Full collisions and Knockback collisions. In GoWII, that is mostly as it sounds. Knockback attacks cause half powered collisions.

OH type "Repel" counts as a knockback as well. Lots of grabs, air grabs and OH types cause collisions.
The base is established via your Armor %. At exactly 100% (after difficulty and costume percentiles combine), it deals 10 damage *knockbacks dealing 5*. As our Armor% decreases, collisions INCREASE in power. On Titan, you get 50 damage collisions.
NOTE: Pegasus side dashes are full collisions and foward dash is a 'knockback'.

NOTE2: Rage increases armor the point that whatever collisions you're doing is divided by 3.85 in power.
Costumes with 50% Armor on Titan reduce our defense enough to grant 100 damage collisions. To put that into perspective, Cerberus Breeders have 200HP in GoWII. Tossing Seeds at Breeders can be highly effective.
With this in mind, higher settings can be less about power attacks and more about tossing foes at each other. Grabs themselves aren't affected by settings so they seem stronger

Big VEE, I've seen you i a lot of GOW videos so I guess you are really good at it :P. I've only used PoP almost all the time combined with launches & grabs obviously until now, and I wondered if any of the special attacks of the BoA are useful... I say this cause in GoW I I liked that all my moves were useful till the end of God Mode, and here it seems I can't even use TTT properly, let alone L1+O or L1+S. I hear L1+T can actually be good , but I wanted some advide ;) Thx! (for Titan Mode)

Hey, i've noticed something here. When you're hammering them priests and monsters, i've noticed that your hammer "animation" is so fast. I'm watching this video whilst playing at the same time, and mine just finishes off the animation to where Kratos lifts the hammer to before i can do another 2 swings. Are you doing something some sort of cancel animation? Because I can't hit them priests really fast (even if RotT enabled).

cancel trick with the hammer is pretty simple just needs a little practice. equip the bow or medusas head, I prefer the bow, for some reason it feels better. practice triangle, triangle then quicly hit L2m but dont hold it before quickly going back to triangle again if done smoothly and quickly youl start your second load of hammer hits without the second delay.

Here's a tip for getting through the second wave without losing any magic or health: As soon as you carry the translator to the spot where the second wave starts to spawn, immediately turn around and carry him back into the room he was in. Pull the block off the pressure switch and let the gate close, then equip the hammer or the spear, and just spam the block + triangle move as the enemies run up to the gate. (Note: the satyrs have one move that can reach you, but it's easy to detect/dodge).

As for the third wave, the only tip I have is: DON'T KICK THE DOGS OR THROW THE SOLDIERS TOWARDS THE TRANSLATOR, THEY WILL KILL HIM. It took me a long time to figure out why the hell he kept dying when there were no enemies around him.

s/he is very good but this is do able there are about 4 good ways of defeating the enemies but it took me many many hours trying and lots of luck. check out the general kratos NUR on this part thats a tough coooookie too :) but keep at it and possibly try going left at wave 3 to the priest and killing him quick before killing the natural spawns. er manesh88 or whatever his name is who did the spped run does this so check him out too.however he is doing a speedrun with upgrades but is still cool

i jus did this and i'll say this to anyone stuck here, u need some luck i'd got to wave 3 loadz of times b4 with full evrythin. The time i actuli did it however, both me and the translator had lost about 1/5th of our health. so it goes to show u gotta get a bit lucky to do it

this is bullshit. i've tried the same method but find the following problems occur - there are no dogs around that you can grab and kick to others, and if there are, kratos usually wastes time breaking their neck instead..when going after the summoner in rage and hammer, the others pick apart the translator, and attacking with the hammer is slow. i'm in the same situation, lvl 1 in everything except blades (lvl 4)

GK means General Kratos, its a bonus costume you get by killing twenty cyclopses and stealing their eyes. This is best done in the arena of the fates which can be unlocked by getting a titan rank in challenge of the titans:)
