Norwegians, Danes and Sweedes can understand each other. It's the same as Czechs, Slovaks and Poles.

But Finnish is completely different language family ... It's Ugrofinnish. Like Estonian. Although I've read that Finns have to learn Swedish at school since it's the official language of Finnland as well. But I have no idea how well does general public in Finnland speak Swedish for real.
