I remember this set, but the few shows that I saw had different camera set-ups. Visually it was pretty confusing. I think the idea was to keep Lauren in view of herself at all times. I give Debbie an A+ for the phone booth story, plus her hairdo makes her look a lot like Garbo.

What's Max's?

Max's is short for Max's Kansas City, a restaurant and nightclub that was famous as a hang out for artists in New York City in the 60s and 70s. Debbie Harry worked there as a waitress for a time before the formation of Blondie.
