Uhhh...hello....no such thing as WIFI Satellite...it is just a USB wifi dongle enclosed in a parabolic dish....for you people who don't know...

Save the bucks....buy a spaghetti strainer/collander, drill a hole in the middle and insert your usb wifi dongle....works 10 times better than that piece of shit...and costs almost nothing to make (outside if the usb dongle) and I am sure most people have a collander laying around...

I bought this same dish a few years ago and it's works pretty good. I don't recall the specs though. This system can be set up as either a traditional wireless client or an Access Point/Relay. This is the older model (b&g-only) which is no longer sold, although there is a current version being sold now which includes b,g and n.

It does come with an install CD, which includes drivers and software.

Ive made home made ones and few netgear, but bought this and yeah it good on my home mad eon i was getting 4 signals used parabolic dish and bam 14 one of witch is my mates living up the road 32 houses away i can get 40% connection from his and 80% signal quality. for aircrack this will work like dream. the drivers can be a pain it not a plug and play really part from that it does what says on the tin

Damn why does everyone call these dishes satellites? It's a parabolic dish and ones use to communicate with satellites are called satellite dishes. To call this a satellite makes no sense. It has nothing to do with satellites. So when I hear people say "I bought a satellite for wifi" I wonder where they got the $100,000,000 from.

I tried Hawking too...with sorry results. It maybe good if you just need to access your basement connection, but don't try going further out than that...it will pick up several networks, but they all have low signals. I'd perfer 1-3 networks with good signal than 14 with low!

If it costs more than five bucks, just use a usb wifi card, a popcorn bowl, and some duct tape. It will work way better than this tiny dish.
