  • my buddy got his ls6 heads to flow a 312 at 600 lift on his z06

  • @Ls3guy Awesome! Those are good results. Actually those are experienced porter results from a pair of 243's. Did you know thats what LS3 heads flow stock? amazing.

  • @AGearHead4Life actly the ls3 heads flow a 325 at a 600 lift

  • @Ls3guy Yea, I had read 315 somewhere. Setup and benches could very that much. Either way I think its pretty amazing. Especially when you compare it to the old 350 and LT1 stuff.

  • @AGearHead4Life and the ls motor can take more power thrown at it then lt1

  • @Ls3guy Oh yes, way more. Its incredible. Beautiful new generation motor.

  • how many horsepower can be achieved from doing this?

  • @ThisLaoGuy That will all depend on the other modifications to the engine. Gaines will be much more noticeable with installation of an aftermarket cam. If your hunting for a number I'll through out 30hp with this and a cam. That is an average of what people claim to gain with Z06 heads and a cam. Since these heads out flow the Z06 heads one could expect more HP results. Hopefully I'll have dyno sheets this year. But still wont have a before number.

  • @AGearHead4Life let me try to clarify something I said. I said 30 hp with cam. That means, 30 more hp on top of what was already made with the cam. The combination together can be near 100 hp.

  • bravo bro.. im thinking about doin that to my titan heads.. nice job being patient and takin ur time..

  • @lthlinjctdtitan33 Thanks Man! Let me know when you crack open that Titan!

  • nice vid mann do you grind straight all the way down or do you just flare it out at the end of the ports?

  • @SETITOFF79 Thanks! Depends, I'll flare sometimes when just gasket matching or I'll blend the flare into the port.

  • @AGearHead4Life thanks bro im porting my first set of 350 heads off a 70 monte carlo and your vid helped alot

  • @SETITOFF79 Awesome man! Glad to hear I could help. Thats my goal to help others out and share the knowledge.

    Good luck!

  • Looks good man....I need one of those die grinders.....

  • @petraszewsky YEs sir! But make sure it has the right RPM. I tried that one in the video because it was only $100. But its only speed was 25k RPM. That was way too fast for these burr's. These burrs are supposed to spin at about 7-10k RPM. I burned that first one up in about 30 minutes. I had to order another with variable speed down to 10k for $200.

  • @AGearHead4Life

    Job well done!

I was just curious to know how the AFR 205cc & the AFR 225cc Heads compare to all three of these heads you compared. I always hear everyone saying go for the AFR's on the forums. You obviously know your stuff, so I'd love to hear what you have to say about them. My mods are listed in my channel. If you read it, could you recommend a set of heads that would work well with my mods and current power level? My dyno numbers are listed too. Thanks

  • thats a cool job Mr University of Southern Mexico City, orale!!!!

  • @mikeyson1011 I'm also one of Uncle Sams Misguided Children...
