  • i remember her on the movie odd girl out she plays a mean sidekick

    her name is tiffanny

  • @NaijaGal35 my sister and I did the exact same thing!!

I still have problems sustaining notes like that.. :)

  • A lot of people prefer the original, but i think liking every things original is a bit over rated, and i like this one better :)

  • wow....she can sing!

  • Man, that cop's a dick.

  • I love it when she says "Lonely" in the song.

  • this was in 1999?? christ im old lol

  • 1982 version is better. Always and forever! <3

  • my sister and i always tried sing along 2 the last part of the song wen we were little..."awayyyyyyyyy" but we always run outta breath.

  • Best Annie voice in my opinion .

  • milf.....

  • @dcisowsum She is only 12 here!

  • I like this one because of the damn dog. Adorableness.

  • sooo much better than 1982...1982 was really bad...alicia morton has suchhhhh a better voice!

  • The singing in this movie was better, but the acting in the other movie was better....I like both movies equally....l was obsessed with Annie when I was little. The songs to this day still make me happy and give me chills!

  • its ironic, i always loved this movie... and then my mom died and I became an orphan ..legally that is... luckily i had other family to take care of me

  • makes me sad

  • this scence makes me cold cos of the snow

  • this movie sucked so badly..the 1982 version is and always will be better

  • i seriously grew up with this movie :')

my dad brought me the dvd when i was 9 and after that i could be watching it 3 times a week for years.I have no idea but this movie has always been and will always be in my heart whatever everybody else says <3

  • *Damn.* I'm in the process of getting out of my current marriage to a wife that doesn't know how badly the constant insults , jabs, and hectoring are getting me down.

Believe me if want, call me want you want; but I will tell you that this song just lifted the spirits of a broken-down old man who was teetering on the edge of insanity. Thank you, OP of this video.

  • I love how she is singing and know one seems to notice

  • lol the singing in this is AMAZING!! i got the broadway version on cd. *shiver* i still have nightmares.

  • This song makes me cry...

  • I love Annie

  • What an amazing talented voice she has, Such a talented girl.

  • dude sandis my name....

  • 6 ppl don't like sunshine...

  • I dont care what anyone says the 1977 Broadway version is the best of any version

  • Miss Hanagin made 6 accounts to dislike Annie getting out EVIL MISS HANAGIN THE GIRLS GET TO GET OUT MORE YOU LAZY PIG!

  • the old one is creepy with the curly red hair. I like this one better

  • i always loved this song ^^

    But i recently wondered,

    what if tomorrow...

    is friday O.O

  • My name is Ana and the movie, the original one, from 1982. is my favourite! It marked my childhood! I absolutely love it! :D <3

  • Wil everybody just stop saying witch annie is better! They both are awesome and I love Annie in general

  • "NOT you the you with 4 legs!"

Lol that cracks me up. love this song.

  • @Peacepuppy5 cracks me up too. haha :)

  • Wow, was I confused, lol. I was watching video clips from both the 1982 version and this 1999, and I thought this girl just happened to be another orphan, and not Annie. I was intermixing the two, lmao.

  • The 1982 one sucked. No offense or anything, but it seriously it sucked eggs. This one is much better, singing, realism, etc.

  • Her singing is way better then the other annie it's just my opinion

  • @alexisthesinger99 thats everyones opinion :p

  • I like this version better, because I grew up watching it. ^_^

I love this song so much.

  • the dog is so CUTE!

  • i love the 1982 version because i grew up with it and i remember it well but i prefer this version because of the better vocals and this one is more like the broadway stage performance

  • 5 people don't have souls

  • I like this version A LOT better

  • 1982 is much better much moree origaniall i love annie from 1982 xxxx

  • i love bothe littlew or-phan annie aileen quin n herr ihave history with themm all the way

  • I love both versions but the 1999 version has a better singer you can even ask my chorus teacher we watched the 1999 version not the 1982.

  • I love both versions. Lets not beat down the 82 version though. Annie is supposed to have red CURLY hair. I give it two years until the remake starring f'ing Willow Smith comes out and you'll probably change your tunes about the 82 version. Alicia Morton is cute as a button as Annie though.

  • My chorus teacher prefers the 1999 version

  • This version is much better! (:

  • What's really creepy is that some people not only favor the 1982 version, but also they seem to believe that the 1982 version is more faithful... which is just flatout incorrect.

  • @102936 this versoin is good but 1982 is beeter

  • @123balletstar 1982 isn't bad... I kind of wish they could have gotten Bernadette Peters to reprise her role, although there was nothing wrong with Chenoweth. Although I think people generally favor 1982 is the better one because they "grew up with it," which is actually the opposite for me. I was nine when I saw this and fell in love with it, I saw the 1982 version years later and was like "wait...what?"

  • @102936 ohhhh well im a liitle bit more familer with the 1982 annie than this one. but i do sill like this 1 :)

  • THIS VERSION!!! <3

  • this isnt where she sings it...

  • @TheOnlineBusker what u mean?

  • she should be in more movies and she should keep singing she has such a nice voice

  • This is my favorite Annie movie.

  • Alicia Morton has quite the voice for such a little one!

  • Thats so sweet

  • The orchestration in this is Amazingly beautiful (as well as her voice!!!).....

  • OMG they used this song in an award winning documentary film "I Have Tourette's but Tourette's Doesn't Have Me"! it really gives me goosebumps and i can't help my tears falling! i was so touched!

  • I Love Annie <3

  • Better than the 1982..

I actually imagine 'Annie' looking this way..

The other one looks kind of creepy..

    and the singing is better

  • @Stroud99CP this girl looks exactly like me! and i am trying out this year so i hope i get in!

  • @Stroud99CP No way, the 1982 has way better choreography and is better overall

  • @Stroud99CP what are you saying...The 1962 version is the best..Annie was murdered when disney stepped in

  • @Stroud99CP Hell NO! Its bad enough she's an orphan but this kid looks sloppy! the 1982 version kicks ass and the kid's a FAR better singer, actor and a STAR! This is just SAD

  • @mrfrogbutt1 you a complete idiot if you think that. your SAD so get lossed

  • @Stroud99CP Yeah, the other Annie had absolutely awful hair!

  • @kkdkoolkat2 Annie's hair in the 1982 release was modelled on the way she was drawn in the comics. It may not have translated to the Big Screen very well, but it was more "authentic."

  • Comment removed

  • the singing is better in this one. this girl looks realistic, unlike the other annie of 1982 who looked like chuckie. no 'fence, but i'm just stating a fact. love this movie so much!!

  • @cenationnumber1 well, in the Little Orphan Annie comic strip, she actually has that crazy curly red hair, lol. So Aileen (the 1982 Annie) resembled her closer. :) But Alicia (this Annie) was cute. At the end of the movie she does have her hair curled but it's not wild and crazy. I thought it looked really pretty like that.

  • i like this one more than the 1982 one. the singing is better and this girl is waaayyy cuter lol. not being rude to the other girl. i <3 this girl

  • i was 2 when this was made...im sad i couldnt even understand the logic to walk, let alone this awesome movie

  • Did anyone notice that they used the same voice from the other one? Just listen to this and the old one there is barely a difference!

  • much better than the old annie film

  • i actaully prefer this version to the 1982 version by colombia

  • “The most affectionate creature in the world is a wet dog”

  • I was five when this was released. I fell in love with this musical a few years later and I have performed in this musical in a theater group. I LOVE it and this song!

  • I wish I could sing like that -.-

  • トウモロコシ放置?

  • @hannah ollerton ex scob me

  • @waters1217 standing corn...what the heck does that mean?

  • You know what's so amazing about this scene? Study the last 80 or 90 seconds.. that is one continuous single camera shot that starts at ground level and winds up with an high wide shot. Incredible cinematography!

  • love Annie

  • nice veido

  • I remember I recieved this movie as a gift on my 5th birthday party! I watched it on the same day! Now i'm 17! Such a great movie<3

  • i love how she says lonely

  • What a beautiful song. The words really touch my heart. never a true word spoken.

  • God I wanna squish her!! too cute! I never knew any version other then this one.

    I love this movie.

  • I don't like this version of the musical but I think this is my favourite version of this song :)

  • the girl playing Annie is my music teacher boss daughter and i met her!!

  • Was 5 When This Came Out...

  • i loved this movie :) i have to find my vhs copy and watch it again :)

I was only 2 when they released this movie

  • the best version <3

  • I WAS 4 :o i remeber it from being little :)x

  • i like this movie more cuz it follows the broadway version ..the other one i didnt like some of the added songs

  • i love this song..........and show! its the best

  • I hate how all the good child actors from the 90's grow up.

  • Great movie, and beautiful song. I actually got to meet Alicia, but I was very young then and can't remember it. I'm assuming it was some kind of sweepstakes for the movie or something, so I would have been just a toddler.

  • original's voice was better, but this one's look is superior.

  • i miss her):

  • in spanish please !

  • I think that in this movie the grl they see on broadway is the old annie

  • i luv this movie!

  • the officer should of walked back a second after he said hes going to the pound blah blah and said " HEY YOU I WORNED YOU DONT GO AROUND WITH THE DOG LIKE THAT!" than they took him to the pound XD

  • she has such pipes for such a little thing! i love 3:17-3:28...

  • I like this version waaay more. She's a much better singer and fits the part well. I love that song :)

  • That's a beautifull song! and she sings like... woow! (:

    I LOVE HER! ;)

  • 4:07 amazing

  • i watched this in choir class :D

  • I love this song

  • she has an adorable voice

  • i was annie when i was in 5th grade. my music teacher said i had an amzing voie!!

  • she's amazing. i wish she never grew up so i could listen to her sing my whole life. this is my favorite movie <3

  • alicia morton is 23 now. shes an amazing singer. i LOVE this movie/musical!!!! i cried the first time i saw it.

  • did she play in odd girl out?

  • @34phillychick no shes to old too o think i just got done watching that movie on lifetime too

  • blah, not at all, i like the 80's version way better, she looks more accurate to the cartoon script too. the songs are better, and i just prefer it to this one over all.

  • @dolzakhyron the songs are all the same.

  • @loverlycactus blahhh they are not the same at all!

might be the same words, but they are totally different songs, due to the way that the directors and actresses handled it differently.

the songs in the 80's version just sound better, and it fits the "great depression" era more as well. plus, annie's trying too hard to look like madaline. lol.

  • @dolzakhyron i guess.. i just grew up with this version and i think it has more of the disney magic. plus listen to her singing! i like both versions though.

  • @loverlycactus blah, disney has no magic left. disney's magic died with roy. her singing just isn't all that great to me. it is a very mediocre film too. unlike the 80's version, which actually tries to evolve the characters. this version, has them go out, to the a play, and come back on the first night of her being there and already, "i want to adopt her!" wtf? also, witht he "they are all the same" comment to me, is like saying madanna's version of "the day the music died", is better/same.

  • @dolzakhyron I agree. I miss the old disney channel and the old disney movies when every movie made you wanna sing or dream about things. disney is not the same

  • @3Gabbygurl4 i totally agree, disney has gone down hill, majorly. but at least disney is going back up, in quality finally. but it will never be the same awesome it used to be. and disney channel no longer plays anything good any more, at least not animation wise. i miss disney cartoons. =[

  • @dolzakhyron so do I... my little cousins probably havent even seen Annie lolz. But i know that one day when they grow up and have kids they will tell their kids that they miss the old disney channel, except their old disney channel will be the disney channel we call new

  • @3Gabbygurl4 blah that will be like telling their kids that they miss vomit.

    xD

that is all disney creates now, bland, low budget, stereotype filled, "happy message" moment, movies. while trying to obsorb everything that makes it great, so another company can not make a movie of it, that is more accurate.

and soon every one will be saying "that 90's annie was the best and original" or what ever. and they will say the 80's one was the copy. kind'a like twilight fans >.> lol

  • Wow, at 01:00-00:02 this girl has a VOICE! She sounded so young here, I wonder what her voice sounds like now? Man she had pipes! Go Alicia!

  • amazing voice

  • i like this better than the 1982

  • @glowee123 me two

  • @glowee123 agreeded, in the song Little Girls in 1982 it is sung terrible conpared to this one

  • man i like this (1999)version better than the 1982 one) she seems sad and shes out in the cold, snow, with a stray dog...in the other version she kinda seem too happy...she singing to a man like she tryna cheer him up in this one MORE REAL...like its sad..not all happy..make u wanna cry little child out in the cold poor baby..didnt know how diffrent the two movies were wow

  • I was only 1 when this was released!Im gonna be 12 this Sunday and i can't believe it's been 11 years since this epic movie!I wonder where Alicia Morton is now?
