With two cameras, you can extrapolate distance and your relative position from a target using some simple trigonometry. The idea for that year was to be able to align our robot with the green light, the "target, and let us align our robot on the scoring rack.
are there and competitive advantage to doing this, other than the fact that if the cameras are tuned properly you can create a 3d video?
