see why cant they make DMC backgrounds like that? It's so dramatic and epic. I mean, falling from a cliff on a falling clock tower while fighting using those moves? Sure Dante did that in DMC3 but that was jsut a cutscene.still, this game did get a perfect score of 40/40 so I'm not complaining about this. Totally on my list to get.

In other news, DMC is better in gameplay (takes more skill and feels rewarding when you do awesome), music, characters, and story. But Bayonetta has better backgrounds and boss battles, but that's it. Everything else suckkkkkkks :/

yaya I know what you mean. For Bayonetta it's button combos, but for DMC it's direction, d-pad, shoulder, and/or button combos to execute specific moves

yeah. Oh, and funny thing, i discovered jump cancel in bayonetta. Just one problem. Everytime you jump cancel, you have to wait a certain amount of time to do it again. Like, attack in air, jump cancel, and wait 10 seconds to go again. It doesn't have the same DMC effect, thus, jump cancel is useless. It's more of just used to get more higher in the air like if u wanna jump somewhere high up, unlike in dmc, it was used for combos and could be used many times if you mastered it.

orly. That's a definite DMC characteristic. I guess with Bayonetta's easy combo execution, jump cancel wouldn't be as useful as it is in DMC huh? Though ya that's kind dumb how you gotta have a cool down time. DMC still is the best for me xD Though I realized that #4 is the only one where Dante can't FLY. ever notice that?

@Revalish Well he CAN fly, jump cancelling wise if your REALLY good :o And he also flies with Pandora.....my goodness that thing can be used for soooo many stylish combos XD

But yeah, Bayonetta's JC isn't that effective. It's not really a skill requried needing game. I mean if you show some sweet ass combos on youtube people will say "nice job, but i can do that too." :/ At least in DMC, when you mastered it, it felt rewarding. You know what i mean ;)

true, that flying missle battery is pretty SSICK, but I mean Dante has no wings in DMC4 =( at least in DMC3 his coat turned into a part. but ya hell yea JC mastery is a definite reward!

The person who is behind this game was the orginal man behind RE2, DMC series, Viewtiful Joe, and Okami. He left capcom as he disagreed with capcoms basis on female main chars and other stuff, and now he's part of this new company which he has took his orginal knowledge of DMC and retooled abit. This actually looks better then DMC4 in fighting style, and for all that are wondering, Yes the suit actually made of magic hair which is used for attacking as well.

Platinum Studios said that Bayonetta was initially made for the Xbox version and then they gave the dump to Sega 2 make for the PS3. Not sure wht they added an extra pile of PHUCK YOU to the PS3 by adding an extra dose of exclusive demo content for the Xbox version, but on top of dat, there were noticable framerate drops and bugs in the PS3 full game as well. RESEARCH IT!!!

I got the PS3 demo from Japan PS store, it doesnt have the first part of falling down on the clock. Was that the end of the demo? You didn't show the last boss battle against the other girl in red. The witch time and torture attacks are a plus to the great combos. If you go behind the enemy and do the torture attack you can put them in a guillotine and chop their head off.
