@therodentking dude, i had the same problem with the trigger, what happend was that a little lever that hold that back park of the mechanism that moves as you move the trigger, so with a pen or something bring up the lever and hold it in play behind the trigger mechanism, if you did not understand, i can show you a vid

Interesting, the cheap Crosman Stinger P9 (P99 replica)'s slide removal functions similarly to this much higher quality P99. Slide pin is the same, though there's no plate in back of the slide. The Crosman P9 even will decock its spring the same way, though it'll force a second BB into the hopup (ejecting the current bb out of the hopup unit) if you ever did it with a magazine still inside.

I wouldn't suggest using wd-40 for greasing/oiling the airsoft pistol. After time it will deteriorate the gun but if you want good slide motion use it, but clean it very well after use.

I just bought a Umarex Walther P99c Special Ops (Clear) @ Kmart for $20. Does this video still apply to disassembling it as well?

As others have said, WD-40 is a solvent, and using that on plastics is (as far as I've ever known) a bad thing. I suppose, if you wanted a safer alternative, you could use graphite powder or even paraffin wax?

The nice thing I like about the Umarex Walther P99c, is that it uses metal gears/parts on the inside! The Crosman Stinger P9 doesn't and already broke!

How you would think the gun operated smoother from rubbing solvents all over the delicate parts is anyones guess, but tell us it had smoother operation on the slide (the only part you didn't "lubricate") is completely out there, to achieve the same result you could just have sprayed down the barrel and through the trigger, but wd40 is bad for these guns anyway, just like any other solvent really, 3in1 oil is the only real acceptable household substitute. Good job at disassembly though

good dissassembly guide on field stripping the gun and a great way to ruin your gun, you should always be lubing that with pure silicone oil. wd 40 will corrode your gun
