  • Have you ever used ANY of these skills in a real life situation?

  • @epicspart no I have not, but I hope to develop realistic techniques.

  • If you step to the other side, and turn the gun towards him it will break his finger, allowing you to 1. get out of firing range in case it fires and 2. you have the gun and his finger is broken, not much he can do.

  • @helrith3 yeah that is true with the trigger guard.

  • Once more you need will need a lot of speed to move the gun out of your direction and to do that you'll need to be dealing with an amateur shooter or a jammed gun. After you move the gun out of your face it's easy. Spin arm over, knee cap to were the arm bends, and maybe if you have the freeness, apply pressure to between thumb and index (Pressure point) to weaken grip on gun resulting in disarm.

  • @Uhateme100 very true, thanks for your additions friend.

  • what if he shots while u doin those techniques

  • Well that may happen. Depending on where you get hit and with what kind of ammo will depend on if you continue the fight. @LEDLnw

  • @ShinobiMystic oh..i never thought about that lol

  • If your in a headlock the first thing you have to do is get the gun from the side of your head bc all the oppt has to do is pull the triger. The person holding the gun will not be pointing the gun to where if it goes thru your head it will hit his arm. Using the same stance as in this video use your right arm to hit the gun upward away from your head and hold it with your right hand. While you have it up switch grip to the left hand and use the right hand to do a groin strike.Healer21@yahoo.c

  • you need strength and speed as well as the shown skills with this sort of thing, something only achieved with conditioning and perseverance. with the headlock situation, if your opponent out matches your strength by too much, they can deliver quite a nasty blow to the head with the butt of the gun to keep you restrained or even shoot you there and then if your not fast and strong enough.

  • i like the snow-camo outfit :)

  • it all seems so easy, but it aint! remember that kids. If you are getting robbed , then in some cases you just have to give them what they ask for. Unles you are trained in self defense. btw, i like the snow camo outfit

  • Very true, I will deeply consider this. Thanks for watching.@vitnes2008

  • nice.. these are good, and i never would have thought about most of these..

nice pink/red gun by the way.. xD

  • Thanks it is a foam prop I made. @Smooth440

  • Most of the moves that the 'mugger' in this video are making are not the same moves that a trained gunman would use. That being said, most muggers would not be trained.

  • ok for the one with the gun held close, if the attacker is close enough for you to grip the barrel take the chance to grip the barrel stick your leading foot behind his leading leg, sweep him off his feet and disarm from that position. that's all I have.

  • hey is there a way that people can't notice you like just walking at front of themor at the back of them without feeling they are bieng watched?

  • when the gun is close to gun wielder i suggest you push it down fast, then try and get in some hits.

  • when the gun is close to gun wielder i suggest you push it down fast, then try and get in some hits.

  • some dangerous techniques...

but against a gun every technique is dangerous.

    Love

  • @dodgesxt thanks for watching.

  • if YOU were actually gettin robbed do you think you could perform these techniques? just asking

  • I don't know friend.

  • at least ur honest lol just hit em with a fireball jutsu!!! jp

    cool vids tho

  • Do YOU think it would be better to know these techniques and having the option of attempting them rather than not knowing anything when getting robbed?

  • @renvaar u lost me

  • Long time no see ShinobiMystic!!!! Im in college now i have been study your moves did not have time to reponse to them. Those moves are great i believe can do them in time. thanks agains. god bless you

  • @Yaki1wolf Hello friend. I hope you are well, I wish you the best. Thanks for watching. Peace be with you friend.

  • Half the time thugs don't evn have the gun loaded..

  • @Huntman12303 really, wow. Or it might jam up or something.

  • pay close attention to how you even worded your statement. It MIGHT jam. Like I said, a gun is always loaded, and will always fire perfectly the way it's intended to. Why think about it like that? Because when your looking down the barrel of a gun, you have to think like that. In the event it does jam, you have just been given a MAJOR blessing. However treat every weapon as if it were loaded and going to work flawlesly.

  • There could not be a worse bit of advice, than what you have just given. 1. A GUN IS ALWAYS LOADED, period. 2. See 1.

  • Shinobi, for better practice (which will require face protection) Utilize an airsoft gun (you don't need a gas powered one, a spring action will work just fine) Then use the paint filled bb's. you have to make sure that your FPS does not go over 200-250. This is how I train, and train my students. You will have a live fire exercise and have a more realistic picture of your real reaction time. PM me for more details if your interested.

  • @WeThePeopleOnline Yes I will be doing this in the spring time for sure.

  • 2:05 Shinobimystic you gotta move faster yo.

  • well mike i watch it agin and still good but try all you on way to like rifle dis arn not all attack with hand gun i big on disarm a shoot gun that where practian get harder keep up mike

  • yeah i have some great counters to this kind of conflict.

step 1. shoot mugger in face

step 2. ummm never mind we're pretty much done here.

  • nice work mike. looks like a fun training session. my net at home is jacked and i am pulling off the musuem across the street. to slow to watch vids. but i can email. so i have to come to a buddies house with laptop 2 times a week now. to catch up on vids. i see some stuff you did before or kindof like in other gun vids. it is fun to see what works and what dont and learn from our old vids and sessions training. keep it up

  • @MOUNTAINOUS that is what it is all about learning from the older video's and finding what works. I can see the difference every time. Thanks for watching my friend. Especially when it is a pain to do so.

  • ya i am catching up for about 2 hours now and still about a hour to go then i am caught up on all my friends and martial arts vids. i sent you my new one and i forget if you saw my solo focus mitts vid i did last week. but my new one is all gun stuff and new tactical vest. and i got new m4 rifle like my automatic but single shot and 20 bucks and extra clip to do drills and vest came with free pistol. it is airsoft megastore and it is best place with amazing stuff. well take care

  • Interesting useful stuff. I do think you need to react quicker. Perhaps drop the music from your video and give verbal guidance as you perform the moves slow then sped up to be more life like. Remember real life is not like the movies. When an assailant has a gun out the police officer doesn't have a 10 minute dramatic standoff with the perp, she just draws her own and fires because the threat level and need for deadly force has already been established by perp.

  • @robocoastie I see, I will try to develop better reaching timing.

  • Maybe this is a stuipid question at which maximum distance can you disarm the gun? Also would like to know do you have any tips when multiple attackers attack you for example with ironstick?

    Thank you for sharing!

  • @tayounorise Oh man I think your range is about arms length away. Other than that you are pretty much at their mercy.

  • Thank you alot!

  • idk if work but in 5:11-5:20 i wood kick his hand thin come around with other leg and kick in head

  • @1455YA sounds good.

  • Regarding the gun disarm at 3:45, the best thing to do, is to get your center line out of line with the barrel and close some of the distance by going toward the side he has his back to, it is harder for him to follow the movement, because he has to pivot his whole body to maintain the stance. Once the distance is closed, and you are shoulder to shoulder with him, sweep the left arm up under the enemy's left arm/muzzle of the gun,

  • and trap it, and perform a rear hip toss on him, landing him on his head. It is important to gain control of the direction the weapon is pointing in first with this. Also note the weaknesses of the firearm the enemy holds, a semi-auto cannot fire if the slide is partially pulled back, and a revolver cannot fire if the cylinder is pinned down and cannot turn, unless it is already cocked. Hammerless revolvers are an exception to this, they must have the cylinder advance one chamber

  • before firing each time the trigger is pulled. Most revolvers and semi-auto pistols are double action. This means, that with the hammer in the resting position (if one is exposed, such as with Barettas and their clones, and most revolvers) the trigger will pull the hammer back, and fire the round, if one is in the chamber. Single action guns like .45 ACP Model 1911's and their clones, as well as some revolvers, are single action, which means, that even with a round in the chamber, the hammer

  • must be pulled back manually before firing. So, by observing the type of gun, and knowing how it works, you gain an advantage in how to control the weapon and keep it from firing in a control situation. Grasping the back end of a Baretta or most revolvers, with the hammer down, will keep it from firing by pinning down the hammer. Grabbing the hammer on a single action gun, with it cocked, in such a way that it keeps the hammer from striking the firing pin/primer, will keep that weapon from

  • firing while gaining control of the weapon. Aside from that, the trigger guard can be used against the enemy, by turning the gun on the enemy with his finger in the guard, and can be made to fire on them by pushing the weapon toward them in this painful locking position. The finger can also be torn free of the hand with the relatively sharp edges of the guard, and the leverage of the gun applied to the hand, if the enemy does not comply.

  • have you ever been in a real fight?

  • @BluesChopper Yeah a few times, but I am starting to get over due to do some cage fighting or something. Would you like to see me get down and dirty with some non cooperative opponents.

  • Whered you get your suit thing from?

  • @sc4rzpur3 I made it.

  • i doubt alot of ppl would pull a gun dat close..if ur getting robbed though..,but those r good for close combat ns

  • @x4k28 yeah there is still much to be worked on here.

  • You'd be surprised at the stupid stuff a mugger will do close in, because the weapon gives them the confidence to do so.

  • @jiro9cuts0001 I am so grateful for your guidance friend. Peace be with you always.

  • Always glad to help.

  • great video as always some great techniques in there .

    impressive post

  • @thommark123 Thanks friend.

  • Great control guys. By taking it easy on your partners wrists and elbows you can learn without painful injury. So many techniques and concepts shown here. By the way what is your partners name?

  • @DanBowenTV I will have my partner make a formal into video soon. We are training together, doing all sorts of things on the east coast. Thanks for your support Dan.

  • I wish I was there with you guys, so much fun would be had. Keep up the great work my East Coast Ninja Brothers.

  • Did you try the Video editing thing,i told you?

  • @KoeraNina2009 I use Cyberlink Power Director, I might start editing with Windows Movie Maker again.

  • damn it man, if i were a gun armed thief, you'll have several bullets on your skull.

    have a nice day.

and train seriously with a profesional teacher to improve your skills, you really need it.

  • @ricoguillen yeah I do.

  • You do a good job with gun disarm techniques. Thank you for the lesson.

  • @ILOVESPEED25 I will continue to refine my technique. There is lots more on the way.

  • Hold your gun to your waist, like you were sticking someone up. That nullifies most disarm attacks (If you happen to be the one lucky enough with the gun lol). Good job and keep up the training!

  • @tantoi10man oh you mean gun vs gun. ouch dude, how do you sweet talk out of that one.

  • cool mike gun disarming is good i see like have fun some time that alway good

  • @kissrdbc

Agreed. However, the remaining effective disarms from that position are not easily countered by the attacker.

So, in reality, it's a bad strategy.

  • @jacksonswastedlife what position friend?
