Great band, We came across in Central Park too on our visit from NZ. Our 4 year and 2 year old kids were captivated for half an hour listening!! Bought one of the CD's too as my 2 year old particularly loved the music!!
I was showing NYC to several first time visitors to NYC and in our stroll through the Park we were SO LUCKY to catch you playing!!!! Keep on playing in the Park PLEASE!!!!
Same here. My first trip in NY ended with a mini show of you in Central Park. Both of your albums are good. Don't ever stop playing music guys. You're all very brilliant!
Hi, My name is Jesse Selengut - the trumpet player in this video. You are listening to an old spiritual called "Lord, lord, lord (You sure been good to me)" My band is called the Tin Pan Blues Band. Have a listen at TinPanBluesBand dot com.
Featuring: Clifton Hyde- guitar, "Tuba" Joe Exsley on Tuba, and Stefan Ziniuk on Baritone Sax and Clarinet
Hi Jesse, i was in NYC in october this year and saw you guys in central park. You guys are brilliant. we paid for both your CD's and havnt stopped playing them.
i saw you guys with my mom at the statue of alice in wonderland i think two summers ago. we bought alice mcnulty, and i played brooklyn of old to my jazz band (they loved it). it also means a lot to me because i live right near the atlantic center and all those fucking malls and shit, and i used to nearly get run over on my way to school because of all the traffic. thanks a lot man, you make the busking scene better, and make me wanna have a trumpet player with me when i play at grand army plaza
