@lrh1966 I will. They will only be selling them from their website and from the stage, in about 2-3 weeks. That is all I know. But I gotta ask... Is there a copy of "Ain't Got The Time" on YouTube or does anyone have a copy or...? Just curious. I saw the 45 in a YouTube window but didn't play it, then lost track of it.
I'm working on getting the info on the Del Counts. I'll keep you posted. And do you know how SOMA Records got it's name. Spell it backwards and you've got the first name of the guy that started the label. Later.
@lrh1966 Hey, I didn't hear back from you. Like I said, my bro will make CD's for us. It could take some time since my bro is slow. And yes Lloyd, it's warming up here. Minneapolis should be up to about 27 degrees by the end of the month. No wonder I'm goofy....my brain has been frozen for years...........Hey, keep in touch. Later, and keep in touch. Your friend, Debbie
Hi Debbie, I actually would like to find more original vinyl albums, and 45's of their songs if you have any for sale, because I like having the original records that came out at the time of their initial release...Friends, Lloyd.
I remember when they performed at the Crystal Mist in Maplewood where I met my son's dad. I had the 45 back in the day wow are these oldies available on CD?
@star542011 Hey Star, I'll try find out if it's on CD. I'm from Minneapolis (since 1963) and loved these guys. My brother is the music man in my family, and I'll check with him. Back in the day and to this day, his best friend is a guy named Peter Jesperson. Peter is a music fanatic, worked at Oarfolkjokopus (sp) and is now a record producer in CA. The Del Counts were so popular when I was in high school (Coon Rapids....go Cards!). I've got more local info. Write me back. Debbie
I'm a huge Rascals fan, but I gotta say this is a great cover version. Strong vocals here. Would like to hea more of these guys. We probably would have heard more from them in the 60" if they were signe dto amoajor record co. and/or had better distribution.
That is a great question, and hope to find out myself as record label did not supply that tidbit of info...Thank you for checking it out!...friends, Lloyd.
I have it on very-good authority that Charles is recording 4 new songs, right now. Should be out in a few weeks.

Lloyd, As you likely know, this is a cover of a Young Rascals tune. Pretty good but it doesn't match the original this time (:->
bluenazz 1 year ago
@bluenazz
I know, the originals are usually better, but it does give another perspective on the song done by another artist.
