The best thing my school ever did a few years ago, was show me a video about Cyber bullying featuring this song. I don't go there any more. Thank fully, considering they were half the reason I tried to kill myself. Still to this days I love Ben Folds and Ben Folds Five. They were there for me more than the school was. Education now-a-days is terrible, they care more about having a good report than the sanity and happiness of their students. Thanks for for being there Ben.

Although I agree with DBroncozFan about this song not being about anti-bullying, I think the song is about how much harder life gets as you grow older, and after becoming a parent, having to watch your child grow up the same way you did. He apologizes to his son because he knows that one day he will have to go through the same life experience, a very powerful message.
