Of course you prefer this to the Lily Allen cover. It's a cover. Covers are almost never as great as the original. Seems sort of pointless to go "oh this is so much better than the lily allen version." The point of a cover is to pay tribute to songs you like, it's not like she was trying to one up them or anything.
