oh god i remember the first time i watched this i was like 6 years old and was a big fan of the series,i ended up crying so much. love this episode 5 stars.
If the weapon ship was erased from time, everyone on board would have been erased, too, including Chakotay. If that happened, then Voyager would never have gone after Chakotay in the Badlands and ended up in the Delta Quadrant. B'Lanna would still be a Maquis, Seven would still be a Borg, and the Kason would have overtaken the Ocampa using the Caretaker's array. In fact, the entire Voyager series would have been... erased!
When the weapon ship was destroyed, it was erased. And when it was erased, everything that it erased was not erased because the weapon ship didn't exist to erase them. Basically, it just made everything go back to the way it used to be before the weapon ship was created. Whether the weapon ship would have been created again, I would assume so. What's curious is the change in attitude towards the Krenim when Voyager re-meets the scout for the first time, which set the Year of Hell in motion.
Actually, Annorax deciding to spend time with his wife instead of finishing up his work, at the end of the episode, seems to indicate the timeship was NOT created as shown in the episode.
Also, yes, the erasing of the eraser prevented the eraser from erasing the erased, so in fact the erased was not erased by the eraser, because the eraser never existed to do any erasing. Makes perfect sense! XD
But wait, if none of those events happened... how did we get footage of the episode?! O_O;

how come nobody ever asks the question, why does wheneve the ship get hit, no matter where on the ship, sparks fly on the bridge. THe bridge is only so big, yet sparks always fly there, as if the torpedo hit was right there, even tho it was in the front or back or side of the ship. This didnt happen in the early TNG, just later on....................
Well if you want to compare it to TNG the Galaxy Class was HUGE compared to the Intrepid Class. crew of a 1000 + families compared it a crew of 175ish.
Also the producers were awarded a bigger budget and needed to spend it all so they just bought more sparklers :P
Great video. My one and only complaint about it was the lack of Annorax scenes. You did show him at the end in probably my most favorite scene, but it made it feel like he was lacking screen time earlier. He was one of my favorite characters.
Don't forget that Voyager took the attacks over a number of months. It was called Year of Hell for a reason, meaning that the crew could make makeshift repairs when not in combat.

Well, don't discount the Galaxy class, remember, the saucer section of the Enterprise D withstood the shockwave of it's engineering section's warp core breeching, THEN proceeded to crash land on the planet below..plowing through miles of forests and even through a few mountain peaks/ridges and it stayed in one piece. Wrecked on the inside, but it did it's job saving the crew. People forget that feat because the Galaxy's seemed to always get their butts handed to them by weaker vessels.
Like the Duras sisters 20 year old D7 class of Bird Of Prey managing to withstand a full on phaser hit from the Enterprise, and it didn't even hurt the shields..barely shook their ship (a scene which to this day I vehemently disagreed with even if it had to go that way to "do in" the Enterprise. That phaser hit from that close of range should've sent those Klingon's flying across the bridge, and knocked their shields down at least 30%..with collateral damage to boot. Nothing is all that happened
Even one of the sisters told an obviously ignorant Soran when he told them to attack the Enterprise quote: "That is a Galaxy class Starship. They outgun us 10 to 1. We are no match for them!" Ha! Sure didn't look like it to me. They might as well been fighting a runabout.

But, it still makes no sense for a 20 year old, flawed and therefore decommissioned Bird Of Prey to actually take on a Galaxy Class and lose on a technicality. It should've lost to brute force. THEN let the Entertprise D suffer the dreaded warp core breech. That's why on Star Trek Legacy, the Duras sisters on the Generations senario, suddenly get upgraded to a K'vort class. Looks like a BoP, but
why do people ruin long segments with stupid sound tracks! Its the only place you can even see ST Voyager now a days, even if its in pieces.

THe bridge is only so big, yet sparks always fly there, as if the torpedo hit was right there, even tho it was in the front or back or side of the ship.
