This man represents the change we should have received almost 4 years ago.
Okay, I like your message, but my one major turn-off to this video, which is the reason I won't spread this one is because you are calling them "Blue Republicans." Let's just stick to green. Who wants to have one of the two colors that represent corruption be Ron Paul's symbolic color. I don't get why you didn't call it "Green Republicans." Paul is neither Democrat nor Republican, and a lot of people realize and are proud of that! "Blue?" The democratic party does a lot of dumb things too
@ryanm406638 Well, I think he is calling out specifically to people who identify THEMSELVES as democrats, but LOVE Ron Paul, and feel CONFLICTED because they still live within the two party mindframe. Blue means they can still feel like a democrat if they want to while supporting RON PAUL 2012!!!!
@jenentonic31 You're right, and it is a sad state of affairs in our country knowing that so many people feel compelled to be a Democrat or a Republican as if anything else is non-existant. We need to stop this silly mindset that we must have only two parties. We just all need to not see color and vote for those who will be our best "respresentatives."
@jenentonic31 You're right, and it is a sad state of affairs when people in our country are so tightly bound to the idea that we have only two political parties that a person like yourself has no other option than to try to convince people that they are still a democrat even if they vote for a great representative with an R next to his name. The 2-party system is old and tired. Collectively, we need to cut it out.
Even though Ron Paul is by far the best candidate. He will not win. Most Americans are to stupid to realize what the definition of freedom means. Shanaque and her 12 kids from 12 different fathers doesn't know what personal responsibility means! Just like so many other Americans!
Woohooo, I'm in a Open State (See my screen name, it says it)!!! Now if we can just make sure Ron Paul is still in the running by April (WHY are we waiting til April?)
Worldwide mandatory enforcement of the new YouTube channel layout goes into effect March 1st, 2012.
The mandatory change is part of a site-wide effort to help mitigate infringing copyright violations to reduce litigious liability by Google Inc., and resultant to the expected passage of US Senate Bill HR 3261 (SOPA) and HR 968 (PIPA), which fundamentally changes Internet usage under the auspices of United Nations, and the US Federal Government under the Obama Administration.
This is exactly what I plan on doing, and I've been trying to convince other people to do the same (not for Ron Paul specifically, but for having the power to influence who becomes president in two separate stages instead of just one). However, it's pretty disappointing how many Americans just don't want to be involved in the voting process at all.
the caucus system is dumb, who wants too take that much time out of there life to get a vote done.. what happens if the elected person cannot show or just doesnt go for any sort of reason??
National Defense Authorization Act, Military Commissions Act, Patriot Act, Domestic Security Enhancement Act, NSPD-51 and HSPD-20 just to name a few and FEMA which was created in a series of executive orders. A Presidential executive order, whether constitutional or not, becomes law simply by its publication in the federal registry, and congress is bypassed. 16 trillion in debt and borrowing 1.2 trillion every 3 months.
Be sure and check with your local county clerk or registrar if you live in a "semi-closed" primary like California. In those states, it is up to each party whether to receive "unaffiliated" votes. In California, Democrats always do, and Republicans have in the past, but they did not for the '08 election, so be sure you check on this if you are in these "semi-closed" states.
@Gold21030 Incorrect; he says it should have no federal ban, meaning if a state has not banned it, it isn't illegal. With no federal ban, medical marijuana states like California would no longer be endlessly hassled. It would only be a matter of time at that point before more states legalize it for recreational use (as it already almost is here in CA, now only equivalent of a parking fine). He is, by far, the best and only candidate concerning drug legalization, bar none.
@saberswordsmen1 I agree he is the best when it comes to that issue, but California defeated the marijuana legalization bill and most states would outlaw it. I just don't think the approach of letting the states ban it is the right approach to the issue.
@Gold21030 That bill was narrowly defeated, and a large part of why it was voted against was because it was still illegal on the federal level. Keep in mind, it is practically legal in California already, minus federal invasion. Getting caught is the same as a parking ticket, and Mendocino County actually set up a registration system to work with growers, which the feds circumvented. I think feds decriminalize, it will be legal in most states, at least medically, within a few years
America is so far in debt it could not function without it.
Obama is borrowing another Trillion every 3 months.
America will collapse when the Federal Reserve stops loaning money or when they are abolished either way America collapses. All social security, food stamps etc. would cease.
@kobedarott He's clearly stated he knows this, that we have become so dependent upon the Fed and welfare that we can't simply eliminate them right away, but that we must wean ourselves off of it. He's put together some detailed proposals at how to do this. So worrying about collapsing due to immediate abolishing of the Fed is not a concern.
It is clearly obvious when almost all members of congress signed the NDAA into law that one man (President) will not be able to stop the tyranny. Unfortunately the average US citizen is so pre-occupied that nothing will be or can be done to stop the inevitable hitler style collapse of the US not even RP. Everything is happening so gradual while everyone has been taught through media and movies that is will be a one day event.
@saberswordsmen1 Our so called super congress couldn't figure out a way to cut 1 trillion dollars in the next 10 years as Obama is asking for another 1.2 trillion and will continue to ask every 3 months because America is bankrupt. If RP became President lets be honest and rational, HOW could they possibly wean themselves off the Fed Res? History will repeat itself this all happened before in 1933 except now it is global (IMF)and will not recover (Biblical) Obama the Antichrist.
@kobedarott I think that's a bit of an overly pessimistic view. Make no mistake: We've reached this place of governmental tyranny due to a fault of our own: apathy; not due to predestination. Obama has been bipartisanly criticized for not using his bully pulpit to forward this issue; I would argue as a liberal has little interest in cutting anyway. Ron Paul does have an extreme interest in this and I have no doubt would use his clout to push for reforms; people rally about him.
Ok so I'm confused. If I vote in my state's (VA) primary, did I vote for president? Or do I get to vote again in something that isn't a primary? What's a general election, is that Obama vs the GOP nominee? Do I get to vote in that if I vote in the primary? When does it happen?
I read wikipedia but I'm so confused. Thanks for any good answers.
@gsus7125 The primary is where you vote for the person who will run against Obama in the general election this November. In closed primaries for the GOP candidate you must be a registered Republican. In open primaries you can vote regardless of your affiliation. You can vote in the general election as long as you are registered to vote and can vote for anyone regardless of your party affiliation.
@vampiricdust that'd be fine, but I don't make the rules. That guy I was talking to said he didn't feel like registering as a republican to vote in his state's primary just so he could vote for Ron Paul, so I told him to switch back afterward. I don't vote for the 'party,' I vote for 'principle.' Thankfully I live in an open-primary state, so I don't have to affiliate myself w/ either party!
@Claytron830000000000 Cmon dude, we need you. I'm a dem and I'm going to register republican to vote for him. And I'm probably going to switch back after.
