  • I just bought the Homo Sapiens model with the 1.3 palladium stub nib.... I can't say that it "write like a dream" The sweet spot is very very small, and even when you hit it you have to use a moderate amount of pressure to keep the line from breaking.

  • @SparqFision Sounds like your nib needs tuning. Yes, it should work well out of the box, but some of these nibs need tuning. If you need a reference, let me know. If you are in the US, the work cost will be taken care of. Contact me back channel to get more info.

    Cheers!

  • I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I like stubs and the _idea_ of the smoothness of palladium nibs -- in theory, mind you. If I buy, say, an HS, I want it to write like a freakin' dream on almost any paper.

  • @kanajlo

They do, I have about 30 pens, 26 or so of them with stubs, all different companies, makes. Some stock, some modified and they all would sound like this when video taping.

  • @chatterleypens

Thanks for the clarification. As long as they "write like a dream," as advertised, I may buy one. (I wish Oscar Braun carried Visconti.)

  • @kanajlo Shoot me an email at bryant at pentime.com if you decide you want one.

    Cheers!
