I remember when I got teeth pulled. God, it hurt so bad I couldn't speak. I had to get eight teeth removed, encluding my four wisdom teeth before I got my braces on. For seven days my mouth got all swollen and I had to wake up in the middle of the night in pain.

I used to know a lady who was 74 years old and still had all her teeth. She still had one of her baby teeth that never fell out. I think it was on her left upper in front of her canine tooth. I thought that was pretty cool. I used to go out with her daughter. She had some of the nicest teeth I've ever come across.

Good for you for doing this young. She will benefit greatly from braces and corrective dental work. My parents(old timers) scoffed at the dentists pleas for braces for my over bite, and now I'm suffering with a slight speech impediment and if I'm not careful while chewing or talking, my bottom teeth get stuck on my crooked front teeth, and actually chip away. I'm going to be in for it if I ever can afford to pay to have them fixed, but the longer it goes, the more expensive it gets.

I had a similar situation when I was younger. I had 10 of my baby teeth pulled, and I needed to go into braces to maintain the position of the teeth. Later on we saw that I was missing 7 adult teeth. Hope she has all her teeth.

You should probably be aware that the more someone talks RIGHT after dental surgery/tooth removal the more you hurt them when the numbness/etc. wears off. Just a protip for the future the vibration from talking can also hurt the person. It's advised to leave your kids alone the next time they're high rather than scrutinizing them with a camera for your kicks.

I had to get like 4 teeth pulled because I used to grind my teeth. It didnt hurt. But the nurse was a bitch. Anyways, we switched dentists and I just got my braces off, AND a cavity filled. They put a huge TV in front of me and some good shows. When they gave me the needle... It didnt hurt at all :D But it was fun to poke my numb face xD

I'm 13 and I'm grateful I had all my baby teeth come out in peace.I just recently went to the dentist had my teeth checked and they said they were all healthy but I had 2 cavity's that needed to get filled.Took 15 mins for them to fill my cavity's was painless didn't break a sweat and was eating 45 mins later.She's 13 and had to go through this BS wow she's a trooper.

aww poor thing! At 17 I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at the same time & there were complications, such as they crumbled, & pieces didn't surface until a few years later. I also had an eye tooth pulled, this while I HAD braces in. & had had them for about 2-3 years at this point. There was also a complication with the eye tooth.
