it's so shallow and disrespectful to talk about the way the performers look; that's not what you're supposed to be conscious of. Keep in mind, the great composers most likely had no thoughts on the looks of the performers as they were scrambling to write down these ingenious melodies playing in their minds.
One gets used to Kremer's nerdy looks and his open mouth position. Probably best to just watch his magnificent bow arm and left hand. Or shut you eyes and simply listen to his great artistry.
By the way 4:28 is a total bitch for the violinist--he manages nicely.
By the way, at 7:27 the winds cover the soloists. They need to play softer.
lol, i don't like the way the violinist looks. it's like watching a frog and a toad bicker via musical instruments. that's an amazing composer though, i love he like hops and bounces with the first crescendo
baahahahah that's so true. It's painful to watch him. The cellist isn't bad at all but wow the violinist's form is very distracting. They sound good though
he looks a little like Mort Goldman

Rather tepid audience response--no?

Oops that's Gidon Kremer isn't it. I take it back only because he was Oistrakh's student. And they sound really good.
