wow wow that was amazing fantastic layout must have taken alot of hard work very inpressive. What gauge is it and how do u keep it dry when it rains. In the winter you how dose the track and trains cope with the frost please answers my questions. thank you for putting that great video on you tube
No it is a fairly simple procedure to put DCC in a HST powwer car. The easiest way to remember the wiring squence is..red & black to the track - i.e. red & black wires to the wheel pickups- and orange & grey the other way i.e to the motor. Lighting wires are white/blue for front lights. Yellow/blue for rear lights. The blue wire being the common wire for both front/rear lights. Hope this helps
You are so right... what a great idea that would be for our heritage... a complete set in original livery on the main line with Paxman Valentas at each end! I never thought I'd hear myself saying that at 47 but somehow.. I've gone all nostalgic!

Thanks. Both trains are new arrivals on the line as it happens. The 125 is an e-bay purchase and the 47 was a birthday prezzie:-)
