I love this time of year!i get to try out for the shows and i get to see my friend ashley bradely who is in this show! the 2010 one! GO ASHLEY!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for posting the WHOLE thing on here...I go to Dollywood EVERY Christmas just to watch this show and to hear this song! Now I can watch it when ever I want. haha. Thank you!
We used this trio arrangement in the 26th anniversary of the Living Christmas Tree at Wallace Memorial in Knoxville. It's in a cantata book somewhere. I think it's the most touching music written to tell the story of Mary and Joseph before Jesus came into their lives. Absolutely amazing. I love Scott Self, too. His voice rocks, and has for a very very long time at Dollywood.
'The Lord is With You' is the name of the piece--it's from a cantata, but I can't tell you which one. Maybe it is in "Rose of Bethlehem" as bratface765 said.
I am moved by this everytime i see it, we saw it a while back and then once again this christmas, i just cry when i see it... it really is an amazing part of it and I think it is so amazing that they showed the true meaning of christmas in Dollywood, and this really was an anointed scene:)
Thanks so much for posting this video, especially in high quality. My wife and I visited Dollywood last year (2007) and were moved to tears at this segment (as were many others). We couldn't believe such an anointed scene as this would be included in a theme park show. We went back several more times, just to see this show, and returned again this year. Thanks for bringing back such fond memories for us. Hope you can post the new effects-working version soon! God bless!
Thank you for the comment! I so love this part of the show as well. I plan to record this again this year when we visit over New Years Weekend. I hope all will be working fully that day!
They must have been having trouble with their fog and haze machines on this performance. Lighting effects are much better with it!!! I've never seen this without it.
Why does this video even have a dislike button?
