That was pretty much the joke - take something incredibly annoying and make it epic and sad, as if instead of enjoying space, poptart cat is lonely and defeated - the old spacerock chestnut (see Failures "Fantastic Planet LP). I would send it in, but who are the "relevant people"?

I actually kind of liked the huge crazy overwhelming cymbals of the earlier version. They were symbolic of the horrifying vastness of space or something. Then again, I like distortion more than most people, plus I was almost certainly stoned.
