and when im connected to tiny umbrella it says my device is ipad 2 wifi 8gb but mine is ipad 1stgen 16 gb also on the log says im too late for the other version of shsh... pls help....

I currently have 4.3.3 jailbroken on my iPad 2, but when i try to save my 4.3.3 SHSH blobs, it says apple is not signing that firmware, but afaik, they are?

Jailbreakme 3.0 is nice, but have some bugs and is only for 4.3.3. However today also i0n1c released elevat0r for 4.3.3 & 5.0 firmwares at his official website:

I think it's much better way to jailbreak iPad 2 with 5.0 firmware.

It's okay, it was an error. Download the new Tiny Umbrella 5.0.1
it is saving the SHSH.
MAKE SURE U UNCHECKED THE BOXES I TOLD YOU TO and click APPLY CHANGES. then SHSH all again

The jailbreak can only be done when version 4.3.3, though he said on his latest tweet that we were patient, he would get it to work on 4.2.1, 4.2.0, and maybe 4.3.0. So it's either iOS 5 or jailbreak (otherwise, you can wait for next jailbreak).

Hi, well I've been waiting for the iPad 2 jailbreak and i came across tweaks saying that i have to use tiny umbrella to back up shsh. What exactly backing up shsh do?

It saves your current version of your iPad/iPod Touch/iPhone, so when Apple upgrades to 4.3.4, you can just restore back to that version. Otherwise, on 4.3.4, there is no jailbreak for that..
This is mandatory for the jailbreak :)
