@ThatbanjoKidd (A little late but I want you to know.)You can do live commentaries with this mic you just have to record you gameplay and your mic at the same time but with different programs. I would use audacity for voice and if you have a dazzle I would use pinnacle studio or if you have an HD PVR I would use the regular recording program you get with it. Hopefully you understand and can get it to work.

Check out my band's demo before we got a bass player and a new drummer. We plan on multi-tracking for more control using the Blue Snowball and Audacity in January '11. It's a GREAT mic! Go to ReverbNation and search for CAHADA to hear what we did.

We recorded 2 guitars & drums in a triangle position in the bandroom with the Blue Snowball (we call it a Blueball) on setting 2 on a glass table in the middle of the room. We used Audacity & only the vox were on seperate tracks on setting 1. Got a good sound & plan on multi-tracking with more sound control beginning in January '11. I'm sure the Blueball can compete w/any mic!
