I fail to see how you could consider it the worst of the 4 Alpha Games when it has the best graphics and most refined gameplay out of the lot of them.

And what do you mean it has very little story? It expertly uses of the storylines of Gundam Seed, Macross 7, Ideon, Dancougar, Steel Jeeg and GaoGaiGar. No to mention it resolves all the plots that have been left open since Alpha 1 and has the most epic final boss in the entire franchise.

An english version is most likely to never come out. The amount of text in the game is insane, as well as voice acting for all the scenes, as well as battle transitions and cutscenes as well.

You'd have to hope for a Fan translation, and even then, it'll take a few years for one game.

main reasons: in japan since most of the animation companies are cool with each other that they easily support different animes together, it be chaos to bring it to america and get voice actors, second reason majority of these animes american fans may not know so it probably won't help sells, and three hard to believe but there still isn't a strong profit of anime in america so they would see it as a waste of time as the game would only be bought by hardcore fans

i 100% agree with you, i think the anime companies should sub their episodes also since they are so anti-fan subbing. honestly idk how anyone can be a fan of anime and not be able to handle reading english subs, i prefer to watch all my animes in original japanese voices and i'm downloading animes right now in that manner

kira isn't even close to unbeatable he is an average unit with average damage i found heero from gundam wing far more useful . and other far more powerful units like genesis. Or dragon lord easily trump kira.

Also kira is pretty easily hit in the later chapters even fully boosted unless you count seishins or haro enhancements, but even then he would still be hit by high lvl enemies in the later chapters.

Yeah, but those 2 games were strictly Original units and had no units from any anime. If you want the game for the massive crossovers, you're gonna have to import it, if you just want it for the gameplay, go with Original Generation.

You'll have to import it (legal) from a site like Playasia, or get an ISO of it (Not exactly legal). If you import it to play it on your PS2, your gonna have to get a mod chip for it(American/European PS2s can't play Japanese games). Or you can just play the game with an emulator(Some PS2 emulators can read disks). Hope that helps.

No, but you can't loose anyone permanently unless it happens as part of the story either. If someone dies you just pay a repair cost at the end of the mission.

Actually Macross Plus does have a story part in the game, but it's meshed with Macross 7, and it involves Sharon, Myun, Guld and Isamu.

kind of...but that part of the story (w/ Ghost X9 and Guld at the end of Macross Plus) was already been covered in SRW Alpha Gaiden...so this time Sharon comes out and captured Myun inside the Macross 7 fortress instead of the original one....it seems repetitive (btw the background of the original Macross fortress in SRW Alpha Gaiden is extremely pretty)

I think in the whole course of this being the true connected series... some of the series have been reduced to a supporting cast; since some of their plots have ended (but there's still the aliens); though the path splits are staggering in away. Case of a game being a bit too encompassing for its own good.
