  • what was the squeeking sound. was it the building swaying ?

  • @swampzoid i don't hear a squeaking during my video, there were some background noises and some noises from the camera as i panned down, but no squeaking. maybe there is a mouse in your computer?

  • Right in the heat of downtown Atlanta?? How exciting....

  • Atlanta needs something like times square

  • i want to live in atlanta too.:) its my dream

  • proud to be part of this city

  • ist das nicht da bei diesem aufzug mit diesem ding?? XDDD

  • atlanta has literally three downtowns. damn you got a lot of tall buildings over there

  • NO IT AIN'T NOTHING LIKE DUBAI..DUBAI IS DA MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE I HAVE EVER WENT TO.....EVER MADE LOOOL ON SOME REAL SHIT....I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK THERE THIS SUMMER FOR MY GRANDMA ....ATL IS NICE....

  • idiot

  • @radiohead77777 What the fuck are you talking about?

  • ???? what does that even mean how could that be possible

  • Nice video. ATL has a beautiful skyline, but not Jacksonville.

  • yea, im proud to call my city ATLANTA GEORGIA BABY!!!!! WHOOO, lol ; )

  • We usually stop in downtown Atlanta on our way to Florida. Such a beautiful city. Eating at the Varsity Restaurant is a must! We'll hopefully do the Ga Aquarium next time.

  • Atlanta, i love this city :).

  • I wrote a letter to the owner of that building a few months after the tornado, expressing concern over the still-unrepaired windows...he called back, sympathized and a month later the blight was gone from the building's face. Very cool!

  • I heard from the Weather Channel that The bad flood yall had there was a 10,000 Year flood. thats amazing. our recent Flood we had was around the Same time Atlanta had that flood. here in Columbia we had a 30 Year flood it had over 15 cars in Center City Floating on Downtown Streets

  • yeah, we got hit bad with that rain............i've been here 20 years and never saw it rain like that. lucky for me, i live right on a hill so i'll never have to worry about getting washed out. thanks for checkin' out my video, Atlanta is even bigger than when this was shot 5 years ago!

  • you should make another video to see how big it is

  • @craiger5 yes it is. atlanta has gotten so much bigger with buckhead and like it looks like a new york, well the size.

  • Atlanta is like the Dubai of America.

dude i live in Columbia,South Carolina and Dang Atlanta makes Columbia Charlotte and Raeligh looks Small all together. Columbia only haves a Population of 1million atlanta haves a population of 5million+

  • i want to see Charlotte, Columbia and Raleigh.......maybe in the spring I'll drive to Charlotte

  • Charlotte is the New Atlanta. Columbia is starting to Catch up with Charlotte and raleigh is a small city in skyline like Columbia

  • Why do CLT people so try to be ATL? Atlanta is a World known city. Charlotte is not and never will be. Yes, CLT skyline is growing but it will never be the size of Atlanta's. Plus ATL has 3 skylines: downtown, midtown and buckhead. Also, at certain angles Perimiter area has a skyline. Charotte and Raleigh both suck. I lived in NC and know.

  • I dont live in Charlotte. i like in Columbia,SC but i do commute alot to Charlotte.

  • i have also heard that well midtown and downtown are basically connected. I heard that within the next 30 years atlanta and midtown will be connected to buckhead and it will be downtown, midtown, and buckhead all connected into a huge metropolitis

  • @1Sideout marietta is actualy starting to get bigger not the square of course

  • @1Sideout And Sandy Springs/Dunwoody has a skyline too. You just have to imagine all those tall buildings if they were crammed together lol.

  • @growingup15

    PUH-LEASE!!!

I stay in NC and lived in ATL for years, and in NO WAY, FORM. FASHION OR SHAPE is Charlotte "the new Atlanta"!

It is NOT even apart of the "elite" Southern cities, LMAO!

Charlotte has a LOOOOOOOONG way to go before it can even be compared to Atlanta!

  • i dont live in Charlotte i have family that lives there but from what i heard that Charlotte is in battle with atlanta. i know charlotte has a long way to come before the even see the tip of the iceburg near atlanta. its just charlotte seems like to have more of a home feeling. with a Big skyline to add.

atlanta is big i love the population but the Town quality is not there. it feels too much like a big city. with major crimes and Ghetto everywhere. now im not saying Cola and Char haves ghetto.

  • And Charlotte is a VERY BORING city also. It's like a retirement city, LOL

Other than the strip in Uptown, the rest of the city is DEAD.

The only people who say FOOLISH things like "Charlotte is in battle with Atlanta" are North Carolinians who stay in Charlotte, LOL!

Charlotte is cute, but it's LIGHT YEARS away from being Atlanta!

That's like trying to compare New York with Tulsa!

  • And Charlotte has "major crime & Ghettos everywhere".

They call Atlanta the "New York of the South"

That alone says ALOT about who's the KING OF THE SOUTH(Atl)

  • uh Charlotte is not boring i can tell you that. i been to charlotte many times before and its not boring. i never been to atlanta yet and im planning to go this year for a small vacation.

Charlotte has a better Banking economy then atlanta. Chatlotte has more class then atlanta. Yes crime is up in Charlotte but so is atlanta.

  • Well i'm from Durham(2 hours from Charlotte), so i've been there PLENTY of times, and yes, IT IS BOOOOOOOORING!

And 85-90% of people watching these videos are NOT visiting these cities for their "banking econmics" sweetie, LMAO!

The fact is, when you compare Atlanta & Charlotte as far as ENTERTAINMENT, CULTURE, and OVERALL things to do....Atlanta wins HANDS DOWN!

Atlanta is compared to cites like Miami, Houston, Dallas....Charlotte hasn't even came up to be in that "ELITE" category!

  • hey i never said that charlotte was better its just there stuff in charlotte i like better then atlanta. i know atlanta has alot of culture. i kow i will have fun if i go to atlanta. i lve in Columbia about a 45 drive from Charlotte. and alot of people here always Try to compare Charlotte to Columbia. but the truth is Charlotte is bigger columbia but the Home feel is the same. Columbia is growing Fast. with the 14th most stable city in the country durin the reccesion pop. 1.2 mil (Metro)

  • @DIVAORIGINALE4 I went to college and law school in Durham, so I'm familiar with its lack of excitement.

  • @Whitese7en

    Did you go to Duke?

  • @DIVAORIGINALE4 Just in case you haven't checked out my profile page yet, yes I did.

  • @Whitese7en

Cool. I'm from Durham and not far from Duke. That's why i asked.

I stay on the Duke Wall, LOL

  • Take away the Bank of America building in Charlotte, and it's just a regular RUN OF THE MILL skyline!

  • Have you looked at a recent pictures and video of charlotte. there really growing pertty fast and the city is kinda taking a step on the futuristic side.

  • Don't need to see pictures, i was just there last month. It's nice, but nothing special! I guess because i'm from NC, so Charlotte is really nothing special to me.

  • @growingup15 Atlanta has way more skyscrapers than all of them too. It's quite nice, but I gotta say they should've constructed the 2 beautiful buildings from Sandy Springs and put them in Atlanta.

  • @growingup15 yup but its still in the south where all of the rednecks are so FUCK that.over west and up north are way better.you should visit LA sometime its freaking sweet on the west coast. and it has more pees then atlatna here

  • @growingup15 dubai of america, dude, its a cool city, but chigaco and new york are better, specially new york

  • @coldplayandoasis IDK What i was saying back then 11 months ago when i said that. Not the dubai of America is more around Las veges

  • Comment removed

  • you're a 12 year old little pussy, we don't expect you to get it yet. You're obviously an idiot and a product of some retarded old bitch and a pussy for a dad........don't worry little pussy, you'll grow up some day! Ha! Eat it pussy boy!

  • too bad atlanta is flooding :(

    thats worse than those assholes

  • It's not the city, it's the occupancy, there are assholes in every town, and I could care less when you live! Just move along and leave my channel. If you continue, I'll just block your hater ass!

  • i noticed your channel doesn't even say where you live, you must be really proud of your town to mention it! Atlanta is a GREAT city, and there are great artist communities here, like mine. Good musicians, entertainment, food, culture...move on hater!

  • Craiger5, Im soo proud of you for standing up for atlanta. fuck them haters and let them keep on hating cause aint nobody got shit on the beautiful ATL! Its getting bigger and bigger by the day with soo many new buildings and shit. They making us look better than new york.

  • thanks! im just representing my fave city!

  • hey im going myrtle beach,sc in a few weeks but i have a layover in atl but i wanna know if i can see downtown atl from the plane thanks

  • you'll be able to see from stone mountain all the way to downtown from the plane when you're circling the airport. Hopefully it will be clear so you can see it all. It's really beautiful at night.

  • ATL standup im alwayz at underground atlanta and perimeter mall ATL hometown

  • Some areas of downtown and South of downtown are not the safest areas. Also when you get East of the city south of Memorial Drive it's pretty seedy. There are some real nice areas just outside of downtown (10-15 min. out of town burbs) I live in Decatur, there's crime here, but not like other areas. A lot of Atlanta is getting cleaned up and revitalized. Thanks for watching.

  • Atlanta is my favorite city. Than Cincinatti. Anyway i saw that atlanta is # 16 on most dangerous city. Worse than 21 last year. What parts of city are most dangerous.

  • so dangerous? for me atlanta is behind L.A. the second best city I´ve ever visited in the USA. (I´ve just visited Las Vegas, Cincinnati, NYC, Newark, Jersey City, San Diego, Dallas)

  • fucking ATLANTA I LUV MA FUCKING HOMETOWN LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BABY

  • i also want to be there :(

  • I think you would really like Atlanta...it has grown from 1.5 million people when I moved here to now almost 5 million! I love all the different people from all over the world here. Thanks for watching.

  • someday i will travel there!!

  • If you ever travel to Atlanta, I'll save you some money! I have a guesthouse and a spare bedroom and also a futon bed in the livingroom. You could stay here and save serious cash on hotels. Always welocme here buddy!

  • :D that would be really nice friend! but today i have no idea when i could travel there

  • doesn't matter when buddy. just know that you have an open invitation. there are so many places I want to go and see and it's ok to swing the airfare, but then it makes it damn rough having to pay an extra hundred or more a night just to sleep for a night at a tacky hotel with cum stains all over the sheets! LOL LOL LOL!

  • hahahahahaha :D

  • like i said, open invitation. you're always welcome at casa de craiger! peace be with you friend!

  • Pretty awesome buddy

  • I live in Chattanooga. It's WAY nicer down there. I want to move in the suburbs SOOO bad!

  • you should move to murfreesboro. it's alot better than chattanooga.

  • I doubt it. Chattanooga is bigger and has a bigger downtown area.

  • You say Murfreesboro is nicer than Chattanooga only because you live there. Murfreesboro isn't a bad place at all, but the two cities don't compare.

  • Awesome view.

  • Thanks, I love this city!

  • I wonder how high he is maybe 35,000 feet high you think?

  • I was on the 33rd floor, but I was way highrt than that!!!!!! 420 forever

  • man im thinking about moving to atlanta People on the tube keep putting up videos of the atlanta freeways but i would like a video of the streets of atlanta to you think you can put up a video of the atlanta streets if possible.

  • right on bro 420 ADED i stay in conyers we oughta toke up in your fancy condo or whatever kind of penthouse suite u own

  • this was taken from my attorney's office, I stay in Decatur, hit me up sometime, we'll 420 all f'in day!

  • Decent view from up there ! 5***** -GC.

  • I love this great city

  • I just realized that it will be 20 years sine I wandered into this town of 1.5 million to go to Art school, and I had every intention of moving on afterwards. Now the population 4.5 million (tripled in 20 years!!!) I just fell in love and never left. When I leave here, I'll be building my log house in Tennessee and leaving the city, but it's only 4 hours, and I will always come back to Atlanta!

  • Nice; I love Atlanta.

  • Yeah, I don't know much about the school, heard it was a fun campus....The Varsity and all....lol

  • hey just like a curiosity! someone know where is georgiatech?? i'll maybe go to study english there! please someone know?? =D

  • Georgia Tech is on the far left side of the video. It's near Midtown and Downtown...Great school, Great campus! You'll love it here! People from all over the world. Cultural melting pot.

  • Im from finland but USA is da best! ATL ALL NIGHT LONG YEA!

  • waaaa! i miss ATL! i am in kansas but i wanna go back to Atlanta (i was born there and stayed there for 6 years.) i miss the beautifulist city in America so much!

  • Was looking at some downtown Atlanta videos since I am moving to Woodstock from Milwaukee area and I love large metro areas. I like your comment "If you don't like heights, look away" ha ha! Nice skyline! Looking forward to exploring Atlanta.

  • funny, I'm from milwaukee, born and raised. i came to this city for the climate and just decided to stay for 17 years! i guess that's called loving the city you're in!

  • I was born in Brookfield in '55, lived in Hales Corners, the Milwaukee's east side, Wauwatosa, been living in Delafield the past 17 years. Had a job opportunity in Nashville (Goodlettesville) the same time as the Woodstock offer, and being closer to a big city, and Road Atlanta, is what sold me on Atlanta. The brief time I was in the Atlanta area I really liked it. I had a night out on the east side of Milwaukee last Thurs. and I got sentimental but I know I will learn to love the Atlanta area.

  • this brings back memories from when I was 10 lol!

  • oh that's a good view. I know where that is... :)

  • GOOD SHOT CHAP!

  • wow! thanx for sharing this awesome footage of Atlanta! very nicely done :)

  • I love how my house is in this.

  • I totally agree with u.A new stadium is in the works. Now I dont know if it will be an open air or another domed stadium but the Falcons owner Arthur Blank is in talks with the city and state about a possible new arena.

  • I wasn't aware they were in negotiations, but it better be an open stadium or at least a retractable or this city is going to look so stupid. we have incredible weather here and it makes no sense to enclose it.

  • I know they're in the process of doing some pretty major renovations. But I definitely agree with craiger5, an open air stadium would be sweet.

  • Atlanta is an awesome city! However, IMHO, to make it even MORE awesome, Atlanta needs to build a big, beautiful, 70,000-80,000 seat outdoor stadium for the Falcons. A great city like Atlanta deserves a better stadium for their NFL team than the Georgia Dome. Players and fans love fresh air in the lungs! The Georgia Dome should be kept, though, for concerts, conventions, college football, and college basketball games. Does anyone agree with me?

  • I agree! I was in Wisconsin visiting family and we were talking about Lambeau Field and a friend of mine said Why the hell do you have an enclosed stadium in the South? It is about the dumbest thing. I don't know what they were thinking when they built it.

  • Actually, someone just responded to this same post on another board and said that a big reason could be that the air in Atlanta isn't always the best. However, if that is an issue, they could at least build a beautiful stadium with a retractable roof. Hey! Seattle has one of those and it is considered by many as the best stadium in the NFL.

  • Yeah well the fact that the falcons suck ass is the reason they're never going to do that.

  • atlanta is going to the next level. What a great looking city

  • i like this city.. wanna come and halla wit da derty south rappers for a while heh..

    abdi from dernamrk.

  • nice town but i like chicago alot more, but dont get me wrong atlanta is nice

  • on 13 i live in the building thats red with the white top across the street from worl of coke, aquarium, and the park/ young jeezy shot a video there.

  • damn i miss the atl shawty!!! lol i use to live thurr i moved up to tha m town 10 a c memphis tn which is bout 5 hours for me lol away from tha a town drivin. nice video for those who havent drove through the city at night you should itz a sight to see!!! i'll be back soon atl fasho!!!!

  • This is why I am moving far away from Atlanta.

  • are you moving far away because it has gotten so huge in the past 16 years? i mean i understand, mainly cuz of terrible traffic and stuff, but it's still a very cool city. we'll miss you...where are you moving to?

  • A few reasons: Terrible traffic, far too hot for 6 months out of the year, but mainly because language of the comment below my original one is becoming the primary language in Atlanta.

Living near downtown is too expensive for most.

The decent suburbs are outrageously expensive with 1 hour+ commute times because of white flight. Much easier to move somewhere nice.

The new white flight in Atlanta is to move to another city altogether.

  • BEST WISHES TO YOU!I'm sure you'll love wherever you go...wish you were staying!

    Craiger

  • hahaha

  • How beautiful of a city, and the skyline goes on for miles,Atlanta is becoming a new center of development in the south as well as the east coast its makes me wanna play my sim city 4 game and create Atlanta and its suburbs.

  • Nice work!

  • yeet!!! ATL!!! georgia rox

  • i miss it there...

  • it's really cool

  • cool.

  • I used to live in Atlanta. Really enjoyed the video.

  • thank you!
