I am sorry to ask this question but I really don't know. Was the Berlin wall used as an symbol only or was the nation really divided into two like North Korea and South Korea. What I am asking is was it possible to travel from west Germany to east Germany or the other way around, and if yes, did you need a passport or just an ID And were there two different governments representing each side and was the east and west Germany considered two different nations or just one nation but two governments
@okyat The Wall was a barrier that completely cut off West Berlin from surrounding East Germany and from East Berlin. The Wall served to prevent the massive emigration that marked Germany and the communist Eastern Bloc during the post-World War II period. People could not go from one part to the other. East Germany was a socialist state in the Soviet zone of occupied Germany. West Berlin consisted of the American, British, and French occupation sectors. the wall was real, not a symbol

@tmmy773 the gate was incorporated into the Berlin wall during the years of war, so it was part of the wall. It was in West Berlin from the west and east of the east side.

A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption. Even non-religious people know this.
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have succeeded at framing themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.
If I go to Berlin anytime in the near future I will introduce myself as a Canadian tourist because I'd be ashamed to say that I'm American at this point.

Berlin is certainly a lovely city, I hope to visit someday. JAJAJAJAJA, I felt curious about these small cars, should be fun to use them on the street and not imagine the ride on the river "Spree", it must be great. Another thing that strikes me about this city is its architecture, has very beautiful buildings!
@MrJuillet91 for me Berlin is the New York of Europe! You can have a great tour with a tipical Trabant car, but the best way to visit the city is the bike ;-) The architecture is fantastic, you can see an example in the "Berlin city 2011 - Travel video - part 2" on my Youtube page. Finally, if you wont some more relax, the river Spree is perfect and also the "city beaches" where you can have a beer and sit on a deck. Bon voyage!
@ivanalazzarini Oh Yeaah of course! Also, I could see the second part of the video. I can imagine the bike ride should be great :D Greetings from Venezuela!
nah m8, for me paris is my favorite city in europe so far. and im not french FYI. the only thing i dont like about it are all the street salesmen... which we dont have out here in holland, thank god. but hey, it still beats my town, The Haque i guess ;)

Some people want young white females to mix with non-white males.
I made a one-minute video highlighting a very tiny sample of race-mixing advertisements.
I love white people, and I am opposed to race-mixing. But I do not hate non-whites.
If you click on my name “autumntree2011” highlighted in blue below this comment, you can watch my video.
(I'm not a fan of Hitler or KKK.)
