@LaraCroftDiary They were the new owners because the dog went aggro on kids at the previous home; they did try to corral the dog, but it got out; and they live out in the sticks, so Animal Control wasn't going to make it out in anything like a timely fashion. Shooting the dog was the lesser of two evils; dicking around until it finally seriously hurt one of the other people and pets present would have been irresponsible of them.
Did anybody else notice the sounds in the background when she's talking about the neighbor's dog? It sounded like dog claws clicking on the tiles in the room with her and the rattle of a collar, like when a dog shakes. I might be hallucinating, or it might be one of the other dogs or something, but it weirded me out for a second, because she's talking about a dog and I can hear a dog in the background.

TJ was worried about Dahlia and they called both the police and the kennel, both of which weren't going to come down since they live in the forest or something.
In the last video, they didn't kill the dog. The guy who was shooting it missed three times, so they had someone do it later when they weren't recording. It took one shot and it killed the dog ins

wow... taking down a vid... and first off THEY didn't shoot the dog. amy's step dad did. second, IT BIT PEOPLE. i'm sorry but if i have geusts over and one of my dogs starts attacking them and me, the dog is being put down immidiately. one of my dogs bites someone in the neighborhood, it's getting put down. it bites one of my kids, it's getting put down FAST. it's life. grow up people.
@bgatz008 Not always. I'm a huge animal lover, and one of my dogs was almost put down for biting my stepsister. The thing is, this dog attacked without provocation. That's when you put a dog down for attacking. It the person attacked was doing nothing to threaten the dog, or the dog's owners, and there is nothing wrong with the dog to make it attack. (Like my cat recently attacked my mom, but we found out it was because he had some teeth causing him pain.) In this case, it was justified.
@loverofwolves Some dogs are naturally defensive. My dog bites my step brother and uncle when ever they're at our house, but she's perfectly fine any other time.
@bgatz008 I understand that. Our neighbors had a dog like that. But from what I've heard, the dog was going after everyone. Nothing could be done to save it, honestly. At first, I thought it in bad taste to actually upload the footage, but there was nothing shown in the video and the dog wasn't injured in the video, as said on their OOG blog. And they found a good way to tie it into the series, as seen here.

@anonamatron it involved animal abuse. comments were attacking tja so it makes sense to take it down. the only thing that happened really was amy's dog developed something like rabies and started attacking people. they shot it a few times and it wouldnt die.

@WooScore Okay, on TJ's off series blog, she said that the dog had a history of biting people. So, when she and her daughter were visiting Amy, the dog had bitten her on the leg and wouldn't let go. Also, it kept stalking TJ and wanted to attack Amy's mom's boyfriend and she was also worried that it would have attacked her daughter. Animal Control wouldn't come out until later on that day and the police wouldn't do anything about it. So, they had to put it down so it wouldn't hurt others.

@WooScore TJ met Amy at her moms, blah blah blah, video cuts to TJ locked in the bathroom because the dog tore up her leg for no reason, nasty REAL bite mark, video cuts to Amy's step dad taking a shot at the dog (none of which is visible) you heear a dog whimper in the background, cut to a couple minutes after, dog hasn't died aparently, more gunshots end of vid. nothing graphic, it was explained the dog had turned on everyone by the time they decided to put it down. no big whoop.

That's when you put a dog down for attacking. It the person attacked was doing nothing to threaten the dog, or the dog's owners, and there is nothing wrong with the dog to make it attack.
