Graffiti pretty much stopped developing in 1986. The silver cars started coming in then.Since then very few are original. New York was nuts in the 70's. Very poor, super dangerous. Graffiti was an escape. The tunnels stayed cool on the hottest days. Some writers were cool, some were assholes.
I would love to live in the 60's and 70's NYC bummin around dropping acid, listening to Zeplin, HEndrix, Lennon, Clapton, Bob marley, smoking grass, hanging in comedy clubs, Listening to jazz. I mean the atmosphere in those days were fucking awesome! I mean now my generations sucks an hiv infected cock!
if by some miracle i become the person who decides what the trains get to be made out of ill get rid of the stainless steal bullshits and bring back the old material and put little signs on the window that say graff me up :)
@slammedcordon17s Why do you think it happened the way it did? However, there still is a certain beauty to the decay. Life is balance, you can't have only extreme perfection without extreme imperfection. Was NY's most creative era.
Huh, I said my name is tase and I rock the spraycan all night. I even will put up a fight. I will like say to hello to you, to the white to the brown the yellow and the blue. Huh.
maaan, i was born in a wrong time, i wish to live these days nowadays, fuck... sooo cool, Cliff is my man i writin in `95 a train wit the name biff`n Cliff " in memory of him. my partner in crime: L.L cool "Coons"
@GOSANDO2 No doubt, buying whiskey at 14,porno shops, peep shows everywhere.Live fuck shows at Times Sq.Alphabet City squatters, junkies. Now you cant even drink a paper-bag beer in the confines of the park. And now you cant smoke cigerettes,I remember smoking Crazy Eddie joints walkin down the streets.Thank God I got to do the shit I did.
