HL Source looks cool with the enhanced grahics but it's still not good enough. Black Mesa Source is way better than HL Source IMO, the NPC looked more realistic(than the HL Source), textures are better and many more.

The graphics are very bad because an extremely big part of the game was just converted from the original Half-Life. There are only few improvements in this game that aren't enough at all to make a good conversion. There are so few improvements that you can better play the original Half-Life with the High-Definition pack activated, and with the HD pack it will look better than HL Source at models and weapons. If you want something really good, play Black Mesa when it will be released.
