  • ohhh fuck, ohhh fuck eye haha

  • holy crap man so WOW. that lookd bad goodthing ya'll ok. HOly crap daaaaamn u got up like nothing yur comarade on the other hand was just chilling there all messed up. well keep on trucking

  • Glad you are ok that could have been much worse. How did he bikes come out of this?

  • @TheTacticalBarrage His was totaled. The jackass had a new bike just like it the next weekend from what I heard. Mine had cracked and scratched fairings but the cost of repairs were less than my insurance deductible so I didn't even file a claim. I fixed it myself several months later and sold it in December.

I intended to stop riding. Once springtime rolled around and I saw everyone out on bikes I just had to get another one. I picked up my GSXR in March. Didn't go bikeless for long! :)

  • so was he ok or not? nasty impact too, really felt that one

  • @nathywally2000 We were both ok. I had a big bruise on my right leg from just above the knee to the waist. He had some minor road rash where his jacked slid up but it was very minor.

  • @kryten jeeeesus glad you guys were ok!~

  • U took it like a champ tho

  • Lol was he ok?

  • Hey mate, are these Jeans normal Jeans or are they these special trousers, which look like jeans, but which are very sturdy and protect your body much better than a normal jeans. Thx.

  • @osmanlitorunu1990 They're just normal jeans. I know I'm a squid. I got lucky and didn't have any injuries because of the jeans. I've since bought draggin jeans with pads and protective linings. I wear those when I'm just riding to get somewhere and I have more protective leather and textile pants for when I'm riding twisties for fun.

  • @SuperWaterfowler10 yeah most people run to the bike for the kill switch in case the bike lights on fire or explodes, personally i myself would turn off the bike and then see if the rider was okay, just as precautions

  • Guess thats what it looked like when I crashed, yours was definently more painfull, cuz I was drunk. Stupid YES, but at least I didnt feel it till mornin

  • I think the term for a guy like that is "Squid".

  • Stop at 1:31 to see that he means by "The rider in front of me went wide in the turn and was ejected from his bike. His bike went back onto the road and started flipping in front of me."

  • ¯\(°_o)/¯

  • Damm I hope you two were okey, nasty fall there

  • you had your gear on. point made, heal you , fix it, ride it , film it , post it . and im going to love it

  • Red bull gives you wings

  • @TheRedCoke Too bad I had a Coke that day.

  • @123qwerty Nope i said it cause i cant hear helmet (smashed on the ground) Sound

like you wear cap headband cam or something like this

  • Lol, as expected. Now I'm spammed with Motorcycle insurance advertisments.

  • why you crashed?

  • you were a helmet ???

why i cant hear your helmet smash sound when it hit the road

and you can take off a glasses easy

  • @NattyMetalhead how do you think his camera is mounted? on his physical head?

  • lol at the dukes of hazard! 1:31 forgot your kickstand

  • that was INTENSE! camera fogged up like you went into the afterlife, luckily you guys had your helmets on, your brains might of been oozing all over the road if not

  • I kinda feel bad for you. That sucks man. Glad you werent hurt too bad...

  • it looks very dangerous and painfull

  • LMAO

  • holy fuck, good thing u had that helmet on i herd your head hit the ground pretty hard

  • Aaaaand THAT'S why you wear a helmet. It sounded like kryten made a few impacts with his head and if his helmet wasn't there, he would have painted the asphalt. BE SAFE, RIDERS!

  • I started laughing at the Dukes part but was wincing after that. Oh man!!! Glad you're ok and hope the other guy wasn't hurt too bad!

  • Wow, that initial impact made my stomach turn.

  • holly crap man, you both where lucky, safe riding dude !!

  • Lol I did an endo on the 401 for about 100ft before I crashed into a bumper

  • i had a similar crash i went wide on a turn and hit a ditch,i only got a little scratch on my arm and broke my left fairing

  • damn, glad ur alright

  • how fast?

  • oh fuckey

  • I have wrecked by bicycle before (nothing like your accident but when you wreck a bike doing 20 or so it's all the same minus the weight difference), I have never ridden a motorcycle on the street but I'm guessing that was one of those accidents where you get back on the back and your legs and feet are shaking like there was no tomorrow. At least everyone was ok

  • That "disturbing" part was rather familiar, reminds me for my crash. I liked this one and apparently You didn't get injured?

  • @rantty I had a huge bruise on my right leg from just above the knee up to around my waist and a slightly sore wrist. Other than that I was fine.

  • @kryten surprised you didn't have worse, your wrists look like they took a pretty big impact!!

  • @kryten Ouch dont know if i'd want to get a motorbike after seeing that lol. Probably lucky to survive one or two or those until the spine says its had enough.

  • That was brutal to watch

  • Holy shit this sucks but im not joking i actually live about 5 miles from 29 dreams and they went bankrupt as u know but, a new place just opened up it has new name and new owner and management but u should check it out. I was their today actually for a burger might have seen me. 2011 48 Vance and Hines.

  • @Hogan0519 I was there yesterday and that place was packed. 100 bikes or more easily.

  • @kryten We rode by yesterday it was really packed and i went today still about 40 bikes or so.

  • hahahah u feel

  • Falling off of a bike at 45 MPH and getting up after sitting there for a second. Damn dude.

  • damn nature, you scary!

  • This video proves a helmet can protect you!

  • when you hit the ground it reminded me of when i fliped my 50 dirt bike and i felt it to oh god ouch

  • It looks like you JUST missed landing on a big rock! that would of hurt

  • @CyricMccallen I hit the big rock with my hip. Otherwise I would have had practically no injuries. The rock left a bruise on my right leg that extended from my waist all the way to right above my knee. The only other injury was a sore wrist.

  • I was expecting to get clearer when he put on the glasses old habits die hard

  • imagine if every dumbass rider that rides without a helmet and jacket sees this. just the sound of the hemet hitting the ground is scary! glad u and ur friend r ok, ride safe!

  • @kornkluivert Yup, but ATGATT (especially in leather) - is even better.

Wouldn't want to go on a ride like this, dressed like they were: jeans (leaves everything from waist down unprotected) and work boots (leaves ankles and lower leg completely unprotected) instead of full gear. Would feel too uncomfortable and vulnerable just at the thought of riding like that.

Plus, with the jacket not zipped to the trousers it's bound to bundle up, leaving your torso exposed to injuries.

  • what the word on the dude on the ground at the end? is he good? he had his arms out and his back arched like he broke that shit. did he?

  • @Damiggit15 He was fine. Nothing broken.

  • @kryten thats good. i ride myself.

  • @kryten good to hear. i ride myself

  • @kryten Damn man, took that like a champ! Props to you!

  • There are two types of riders. Those that have been down and those who will eventually go down. Glad you're ok bud. :)

  • @Shew8619 Better make that: there is only one type of riders: those who will go down. Having gone down before doesn't make you impervious to going down again, so take care, man, and marry X-mas.

  • your sounds while hitting the pavement made me cringe

  • sounds like that helmet did its job

  • Famous last words "oh shit"

  • Uh man it happened to me too

  • Oh, Come on... WHY did you stop the clip at the climax??

  • @ShayAxelod22 I could have stopped the clip a fraction of a second before I hit the ground like a lot of people do. I thought me hitting the ground and grunting was the climax.

I cut out the guy on the ground moaning and groaning at his request. He didn't want to be seen like that online. I do have a follow up video to this one though that is mainly additional audio but it does show the damage to the bike.

  • @kryten It's okay, I understand his request. And thanks for uploading this video. :)

  • @ShayAxelod22 No problem. I had reservations about posting it considering how many internet trolls it was sure to attract. I uploaded it so other beginners could learn from our mistakes. I'm surprised but it actually seems to get mostly positive comments.

  • @kryten Yes, but never slam your brakes like thant. That's like asking to fall... Anyway, it was a mistake, we all make them. Have you decided on your next bike? are you buying the V Storm? or are you staying with the GSXR?

  • @ShayAxelod22 I don't foresee me selling the GSXR anytime soon. I've thought about getting a Vstrom but I'm not sure. I want something for longer trips but I haven't really made a decision yet.

If I do get something else I'll keep the GSXR. I already have a second bike with room for several more. I just have to decide what I want.

  • @kryten Just as a reminder if you lock up your rear tire and then UNAPPLY the rear brake the bike is going to whip you like a catapult, if you hold it you'll just lowside.

  • @kryten I usually grunt when I climax as well.. Sorry I couldnt resist saying it. lol

  • WHAT?!?!? You BOTH Fell?!?!

  • @ShayAxelod22 From what i understand he fell avoiding the guy who crashed infront.

  • @TonkatrainHONKHONK Yes, but in the description, he said that he slamed on the brakes. Now from my experience, he didn't have ABS, and he fell because he lost control of his bike.

  • Thats what I like to see. NOT THE GUY CRASHING but rather afterwards he goes over to the other rider and checks him out first. A lot of people just go running up to their bike first instead of checking to see how the other person is doing. Thumbs up man!

  • I'm really sorry about your crash bro , I know how it felt that night happened to me once aswell ride safe my friend !

  • I always think how much your location looks like South Carolina, but I think its Georgia? maybe?

  • @porsche1314 Its Alabama but parts of it look like South Carolina.

  • Love the voice over from Dukes of Hazzard, haha!

  • Holy Schnikies! That's the gnarliest vid ever. So glad your okay and maybe we can go for a ride one day then watch some Red Dwarf afterwards. You're awesome, way to get right up after that highside.

  • when he put his glasses back on i thought the blur i was viewing was gonna clear!!!

  • That's nasty mate, Hope you're ok!

  • How did you land on the fall? On you hands? Head? Shoulders?

  • @XIOIAN I don't really remember much. I must have hit one of my wrists first because I had a slight sprain but I think I took the majority of the hit to the chest and stomach. Then I started tumbling and slammed into a rock with my hip. I don't remember feeling any pain at the time of the crash but that night I was sore as shit. I had a big bruise on my hip for about a month. It was still sore 6 months later. Other than that and the wrist I was fine.

  • @kryten u landed on ur right side sideways ut ur wrists out and thts what i saw

  • mad respect for checking if the other guy was fine before moving your bike.

  • You should wear something for motorcycles. Not Jeans or normal shoes

  • @OstryElblag I should. By the way the boots were motorcycle boots. If I had been wearing sneakers I'm sure I would have broken an ankle because I slammed one of my feet pretty hard while I was tumbling.

  • Your helmet saved you from the hospital or the cemetery

  • Damn, That is not a nice sight to see.

  • Epic, im saying that becaouse you survived;)

  • man..do you use counter steer?

  • 1:35 = "oh fuckidy"? lolol, glad your ok dude.

  • I just found myself looking up like I could turn the camera...

  • @seakasvataja Yeah the camera angle sucked. I was new at the whole motorcycle/video thing back then. I got better at both motorcycling and videoing. LOL!

  • @seakasvataja Me too.

  • @seakasvataja got a cramp in neck looking up-that grunting when crashing gives me the willy's brings back memories of me slapping the asphalt-I puked in my helmet though-that sucked

  • good to see you didnt really care about the bike went straight to the other person

  • was he ok?

  • @Perkatet He was fine. He laid there and moaned like a bitch for 10 minutes but then he finally got up and we rode our bikes home.

  • Holy shnoz!!! That looked painful, crashes happen so quick!!! Hope you were both ok...

  • OO FUUUUU--

in my first chrash i said SHHHHIIIIIIITT-

    lol

  • Every wreck begins with "Oh Shit!" or "Fuck!". Having wrecked before and listening to him brings back bad memories.

Bad move, getting up and walking away after a wreck. I gurantee his body was still numb with endorphins when he stood up.

  • Idiots riding with tshirts and shorts (i even saw sandals once) should see this video before thinking that wearing nothing is cool. lol

  • Was that like Diesel on the road?.....

  • That sucks, But as a biker, it's going to happen at some point, i've allready had my first accident after 1 month of riding!

  • what happened to you're bike? and was your buddy ok?

  • were you ok even though you were wearing jeans?

  • man, you just had an accident and you walk over to help someone else.... Nice move, respect that :)

  • nasty accident man....but you made it so funny !

  • honestly i think you were from from falling at 96 kmh..more like 70(45 mph) when you atually lost control and fell down, judginf from the passing trees and cars..i crashed at 50-60 kmh(~35 mph) and the big wound i had on my right arm ...it's still a big bruise after 2 years, and i was wearing a leather jacket

  • @golf1diesel I had a big bruise on the side of my leg that went from right above the knee to my waist. It was sore for about two years. I can still feel a little soreness if I tap that area. It makes me wonder if I did some damage to the bone. I'll probably hurt really bad in that leg when I get older.

Oh well. That's life. If you arrive at the grave in a pretty, well preserved body that would probably be a pretty boring life.

  • In 3 seconds it went from 720p to 240p.

  • Okay im sure i will get some mean comments for this but i have to say it... It would have hurt a lot less had you been driving a car haha

  • you go down so fast huh! same thing happened to me :)

  • fuck!

  • that sucks man. you guys alright though?

  • Delayed Apex cornering. That is all.

  • mac sucks pc rules

  • There are only 2 kinds of motorcyclists...

Those that have crashed... and those that haven't yet

  • @Akugagi That phrase is so stupid. How about this one, for all the riders out there; "Excuses never reason, and reasons never excuse." Learn how to ride, practice at your skill level, never place yourself in a compromising situation, and you will never crash.

  • @gkohl88 Not my phrase, it's just something I've heard many motorists say, no need to get butthurt about it.

You can affect how YOU drive, but you can NOT affect how the others drive. Even if you were the best driver, the actions of a fellow driver may get you into a crash. Also you cannot really choose conditions you drive in. You can't really make the wind or rain to stop.

  • @Akugagi I didnt say you were stupid for saying it. I have been riding my whole life; you control the situation. You choose your spacing, you choose to stay in the rain, you choose to fight the wind. Like I said, "... never place yourself in a compromising situation...." In all my riding I have gone over black ice 2 times, and kept the bike up 2 times, and did not endanger others 2 times. Learn. Practice. Know Skill. Choose.

  • @gkohl88 Did you take into account that it might start raining/winding _while_ driving? Because that's what I meant. Of course you can decide just to stay inside if you see a shitty weather outside.

If I could also choose the fellow drivers, I'd choose none. Too bad I can't do that, and neither can you.

  • @Akugagi Are you trying to help me make my point? Because you are. I'm riding, it starts raining (I know that light rain is the worst because it doesnt wash oil off the road yet, it just raises it out of the cracks), so I ride careful (Or pull over if your not experienced). Im riding, the wind gets intense (I'm from southern NM [aka terrible winds all year long]), so I ride careful (or pull over if your inexperienced). Choosing fellow drivers? Of course you can; stay ahead, or behind. CHOICE.

  • @gkohl88 Is it hard to understand that falling does not always occur because of lack of skills?

Of course you can ride more careful when in harsh conditions, but its just not always enough. You might end up in a corner with nice gravel on it WHILE its raining. Unless youre a foreteller and knew there was gravel there, you would be extremely careful but we all are not, and might end up sliding on the asphalt.

And where I live/drive, theres way too many cars on the roads to choose...

  • @Akugagi Excuse/reason, it doesn't matter what you call it- 100% garbage. I don't know if you have ever been on a bike before, but if you are unable to see what surface you are riding on, you need to fix your eyes and get off the road till you do. How did I spot black ice, but in your scenario someone can't see GRAVEL? I grew up riding in Boston MA, wanna see too many cars? Have I been close to TERRIBLE circumstances? Hell yes. I'm not lucky, nor am I the minority. I have respect, and a brain

  • @Akugagi HOWEVER, you are right about one thing; "Always/Never" are two words that should not be use when trying to make a point. Someone MAY lay down a bike for reasons other than the lack of skill/brains/foresight/respect/awareness/eyesight... Well... I guess I can only think of two. 1)God strikes them with a bolt of lightning on a cloudless day, 2) Random, undiagnosed, unwarranted heath conditions that kill you without warning. Thats about all I got...

  • @gkohl88 I do ride a bike, but telling someone to "fix your eyes" if you dont see the surface... Are you serious? Do you have any idea what the nature, let alone the roads are like here where I live? Curvy roads going up and down, I have very little warning of what might await behind the next hill or the curve as the thick treeline covers both sides of the road.

I don't think the shit you have in boston matches anywhere to what we get in Finland.

I do believe you have more cars though :D

  • @Akugagi Haha I'm not going to pretend to know what the riding conditions are in Finland (nice riding there?). However, the speed limits in the US are based on average reaction time, road disposition (curve/grade), and visibility. So, in the US, riders (while riding at an appropriate speed) do not have any excuse/reason to crash other than a lack of proficiency.

  • @gkohl88 Yes well on motorways it's nice but the little curvy ones are dangerous, but great to drive at.

Yes, the speedlimits here are usually based on how it would be the safest to drive on the following terrain, but even if the speedlimit was high, the following road might have tight turns with anything from dead rabbit corpses to trash and sand. Also the condition of the very road itself varies. If it's under the responsibility of a municipality, it might be old and have cracks (very nasty).

  • @Akugagi That gets me every time i get on my bike, because I've never crashed :x

  • @skibum5613 Well if you'd stop biking then you'd have something to brag about lol

Nah just kidding. If you just stay safe you wont crash, cause most of the crashes are consequences of mere stupidity (showing off by doing a wheelie/overspeeding etc...), though some crashes are caused by the fellow drivers even if you did drive well.

Just drive safe and you'll minimize the damages at least :p should the worst happen that is.

  • ur lucky u didnt break ur arms with that fall smartypants

  • i thought you were going to your bike "are you okay?" :D

  • haha oh! uh!.. oh!! ... ORGASM!

  • dude im sorry but i just LOL'd when u said "OH SHIT" lolol! xD ah man but hope u were ok.

  • You woulda been awhole more hurt than that if you wernt wearing proper gear man.. Thumbs up for that

  • was he ok?

  • Comment removed

  • I like how you threw your glasses off... Then your instantly like "shit gotta get them back!"

  • since you were in a turn couldn't you just steer straight and get on the rear brake? i heard its bad to brake in a turn, even worse with the front brake.

  • @icool247

he applied front brake too fast & strong, maybe he could pull it out if he didnt panicked but not only with rear brake

  • fake... glasses dont existing in our world : D

  • at least you made it

  • annnnnd i just decided not to buy a motorcycle lol

  • @curtmastor hahaha I literally just laughed out loud at that

  • LOL!!!! your biggest mistake 0:08 Do I hear you say "go ahead" ohh fuckay!

  • how did he fall??

  • Lmfao OOOOOH FUCKAY!!!! Just glad nobody got hurt!

  • 1:35 OOHH FUCKEY!!!!!!

  • 1:29 to the end sounds like a porno kinda

  • holy shit that was crazy

  • ew shit lmaoooo

  • how fast were you going?

  • @silverTangerine2 I think we were going about 60mph. I'm not exactly sure.

  • @kryten Glad your ok =)

  • fixation

  • at 1:38 it starts turning into a video game :D this is what i like about helmet cams

  • thats not disturbing at all

  • What caused the wreck ?

  • Love the Uncle Jesse clip! high five bud, glad you didn't get too hurt. I'm 16, my dad and I ride his motorcycle alot, almost wrecked the other day... hit some gravel

  • How did you not break your hands holy shit? This vid reminded me to tuck at roll.

  • That sucked! The crash that is.

  • how disturbing is it is there gore or what

  • @candycandy57 No gore but some people are disturbed a bit by the sounds I made when I hit the ground.

  • @kryten Much respect you left your bike there to help the fellow rider.

  • @kryten When you prang like that, you get to make any noises you want. Glad you're 'more or less' OK. Good on ya for getting up and checking the other chap.

  • what happends next i dont want to see just tell me

  • nice enough to not worry about your self and check on your friend, ride safe

  • Anybody who rides and doesn't use a helmet and jacket and gloves, and boots etc etc is nuts, the only thing that is between you and the road, and your flesh!

  • WOW! your glasses are ok ;)
