@MOGTROG I can answer that. Yes! in fact most amps like that sound way better when they are warm. My little practice amp is a "trans-tube" amp. Which is like a cross between solid and tube, It sounds exponentially better if i leave it on for an hour or so before i play to get it hot.

Pretty cool but will it kill like my Randall half stack? No ! My Randall half stack cost way less than any kind of orange half stack setup. I know Jim Root uses Orange amps but the Randall dose metal better.

@industrialkhaos Randall isn't tube. and Randall doesn't stand up to real tube metal amps such as some of the Mesa's, Peavey's, Riveras, ENGL, Krank, etc.

@Wolfesscythe117 The solid state Randall remains constant in tone and defined at any volume. It has a teroidal power transformer and stereo outputs for a stereo sound. Tube amps require loads of volume to sound there best. That is a proble for small clubs and rehersals.

I have a rockerverb 100 4x12. It sounds good for slipknot with a 10 band mxr eq in front but low end still doesn't seem tight enough. I use orange distortion pretty much for that or solo stuff. It has a great lead tone. For other metal like metallica bfmv kse atr lamb of god... Ect... I use mxr fullbore metal pedal :) that's a sick pedal. I don't use te noise gate in it cuz I have an ISP g string decimator. Te gate in it does work well though.

A band mate of me has the TT and plays it through a Orange 112 cab. It`s loud enough for rehearsals with LOUD punkrock, and for a gig it`s easily miced up, yes ;)

Hey, it's either your pickups aren't good or your not bending properly. Probably pickups, sometimes they will not sustain unless they have a little more high gain.
