After being on youtube for a month now, I know how much hate people can give to me when reading these kinds of comments but I think you guys might be nicer.
My dream is to be a film maker but i cant get into film school, and I just got a ten subs, which is pretty impressive to me, but I'll never get noticed with these numbers.
If someone would have the heart just to give this a thumbs up and spend all of 30 seconds watching a vid, it would mean the world. Thank you all
@TheBoshman95 way better. Very inventive, well staged and thought out. The editing of the fight scenes is better than the movies, too, IMO. and it's what always impressed me most. Especially since it was really Ryan's compositing work that they were trying to show off.. not the choreography and editing.. but they are accidental geniuses at these two things.

That was so completely gratuitous.. there for pure fan service.. I'm not criticizing, I'm just saying that the saber duels in the films are more there to entertain than to service the story. But these guys do it better. Their fights are more fun to watch, better planned, more creative, etc.

He was a horrible character that made no sense they just needed a powerful Sith to fight Yoda who wasn't Palpatine because they weren't ready to reveal him yet. Story took a distant 2nd place in this equation.

i'm talking about story notes, the attack of the clones script, + also the clone wars series(es), which are lucas-canon too.

Nice. I was wondering if you guys could maybe help out with a lightsaber video. I'm going to be getting parts from TCSS to use as stunt hilts but I don't have any lightsaber rotoscoping software. Unless there is a free program to use then that would be awesome. Thanks for any help and info. =]

@fearwater51 we get taught the same thing in Taekwon-do, and also to never lower your guard. why someones lightsaber always tuns of when they get killed is something ive always been woundering myself
@raysetiger285 its because lightsabers have a death switch, a sensor that deactivates the lightsaber when it detects that no one is holding it. Most lightsabers had a switch on them, allowing the user to disable the death switch, making lightsaber throws and such possible
@DarthRazac01 you pretty much had it right but its called a dead man's switch, basicly its a safty fuction that if dropped it atomaticly shuts down to keep the blade from cutting the floor if it's dropped. can you it didnt have a dead man's safty and landed blade first on the deck of a ship?? it would cut though every level till it reached the outer haul (dont know if i spelt that right lol)
@kaltadesmon No it wouldnt actually do that, lightsabers dont cut through metal like its nothing you know, somebody weilding a lightsaber still has to push hard to get it to cut through. And so a lightsaber just lying on the floor with the blade on would take a very long time to cut through just 1 deck. Plus it might not even do that, since the blade doesnt have any weight, the handle would likely just be resting evenly on the floor, and the blade would be hovering like an inch above the floor.

As for an in-character reply to say why they deactivate when the user dies, (which my death switch thing didnt explain), the short answer is, they dont. Again, theatrical effect

@JKMSanimation It's called cloning. A technology truly perfected by the Kaminoans. It allows for the creation of perfect clones within ten years. There is also flash cloning, which takes about a year. They can then transfer memories into the new clone. As to what they are fighting for, who knows. Fame? Power? @ProtoKun7 well blue saberstaff isn't something thats rare. In the SWU, if someone wants to build more than one lightsaber its really up to them, if they link up, again its up to them. Color is determined by the type of crystal you use.
Hello, I was just wondering how you make the two lightsabers lock into a saberstaff and then unlock into dual sabers again. Is there a special locking device that you use?
In Brandon Vs. Dorkman, neither would have to die. Not every battle in Star Wars battle has a death. So it's possible for them to fight each other. Or they could team up to fight Ryan.
Hold on a minute, shall we? This formula was the exact same in RvB 2. Most notably when Brandon loses his lightsaber. Then he grabs the dualsaber, they wrestle over it, Brandon disengages the thing locking the two together, head-butts Ryan, then it's even again.
Then the ending is the same. Slices head, drops lightsaber, walks off...
@TehGamersGarage Well yeah =/ the RvB fights were for Lightsaber Choreography contests (as you may know) so I don't think they really thought they needed to change the "Story" for each fight. It's all about the Lightsaber Choreography itself, not how it ends, or who uses which Lightsaber. However, you are pretty much correct. The story is mostly the same, except the end of RvB2 lasted a little longer after Ryan died.

This question's probably been asked before, but what's the music in the background during the fight? I know the music in the end credits is Battle of the Heroes, but its the main music I'm looking for.
I have mixed feelings on this video. If you guys had made or bought some really sci-fi outfits and helmets, it would have given this a real sci-fi feel and look which would have given you two thumbs up. But for now, settle for one thumb up and one down from me at least. Bye guys...

There is also flash cloning, which takes about a year. They can then transfer memories into the new clone. As to what they are fighting for, who knows. Fame? Power? @ProtoKun7 well blue saberstaff isn't something thats rare. In the SWU, if someone wants to build more than one lightsaber its really up to them, if they link up, again its up to them. Color is determined by the type of crystal you use.

Hold on a minute, shall we? This formula was the exact same in RvB 2. Most notably when Brandon loses his lightsaber. Then he grabs the dualsaber, they wrestle over it, Brandon disengages the thing locking the two together, head-butts Ryan, then it's even again.
Then the ending is the same. Slices head, drops lightsaber, walks off...

@TehGamersGarage Well yeah =/ the RvB fights were for Lightsaber Choreography contests (as you may know) so I don't think they really thought they needed to change the "Story" for each fight. It's all about the Lightsaber Choreography itself, not how it ends, or who uses which Lightsaber. However, you are pretty much correct. The story is mostly the same, except the end of RvB2 lasted a little longer after Ryan died.

What would be awesome is if Brandon and Dorkman go into some sort of warehouse and fought a bunch of Ryan's Clones. Then they kill them all and the REAL Ryan shows up with a double blade. They Fight.
