Great story, reminds me of bible stories from my childhood... previous message said that this story is evil, you're incorrect if this story makes you nervous you must do some soul searching because you might be the living your life improperly and not according to GOD's plan.

Most fish are brackish anyway...try it in your fish tank some time...mollies,guppies and most other fish can be inoculated saltwater enviorments over time. Ussher chronology based on Bible genealogy puts flood at 2348 BCE. Talkorigins put flood at 2250BCE. The Egyptian Great Pyramid dates to 2550BCE with no sign of flood damage. Why the story not tell how he made all of the blood sacrifices right when he got off the boat? What a funny story. It would be far more interesting if it told just how he kept all the food for all the very special diets of all the animals. I wonder if he just had a huge freezer with fresh meat for the lions, tigers and the like or did he have just a huge place on the boat for all the animals he would feed to the other animals. Lions eat alot. Imagine all the insects he had to keep.

@nowaydudebook I'm glad you asked. Pagan cultures often practiced human sacrifice and cannibalism. The flesh and blood were considered life and as such, it was consummed in Pagan societies. The tradition of eating the body of Christ (a cracker) and drinking his blood (wine) were ushered in to remove these practices.

These are two prime examples. You should consider taking Ancient Civilizations or World Religion university courses. You might be surprised at what you will learn. :-)

@OneSoullessAtheist Thank you for your reply. Is it possible that you are referring to Roman Catholicism and not true Christianity? I grew up in the Roman Catholic church, but met Jesus in my early 20's and am a Christian now. Certainly, breaking bread and drinking from the cup is from the gospels of what Jesus spoke, but I wasn't sure if you might be confusing true Christianity with the RCC. Were there other practices you had in mind that haven't been mentioned, or just that one?
