I've already watch this episode, but not in english and it makes me laught a lot.... well not the first time, cause the first time i watched it, it was the 2nd or 3rd episode of CM i was watching, and I didnt get why he was kicking him... It was the only way to stop Dowd (the UnSub). Hotch has 2 guns; one on his hip holster, and one on his ankle. Dowd knew about the one on Hotch's hip, but not the ankle one. The only way for Hotch to stop Dowd without drawing attention to himself was to give the gun to Reid, but in order to do that without Down getting wise, Hotch had to kick Reid, but it worked....

"I was aiming for his leg" sounds convincing if you shoot him in the gut, not the head. But it was awesome that he said that!
