afk melee training isnt a hassle and i basically didnt even play runescape and still got maxxed melee skills. I understand mow how slayer would have been much greater gain in every aspect but i look on the bright side and how i got prestige 10 on call of duty world at war :)

@DaBeast20111 If we are lame, then you are a freaking idiot. AFk is away from keyboard, if you are away from RS for more than 5 minuets then you get logged out. Therefore, it is necessary to be there once every 5 mins and in that time you can check your hp and reset the timer. Theres no such thing as AFK-ing by going away for more than 5 mins, if there is such a thing-it's botting.

I've been afk ranging in the fight caves with broad bolts. Not the fastest, but I'm getting 60k xp per hr @ lvl 97. I use no supplies (food, pots, ect). The only expense are the bolts that ava's accumulator dos'nt return. I just enter caves in full range gear, auto retalliate) and afk till I die. Repeat every 5 mins for 5k-ish xp each time.

u should think about going armoured zombies, its under the chaos temple, so u can pray eagle eye all the time, also training melee there is really fast with a salve ammy (e) + piety :)

@AshnewmanRS Thats a misinterpreted quote. They discourage leaving the room whilst logged in as you may loose your stuff, but of course that is a risk you are responsible for. The rule is not to tamper with the logout timer, by setting a macro, or back in the days when you could sit a heavy object on the arrow key and stay logged in. Behing afk is a risk for your character but not bannable.
